Royal Priesthood antitypical GB?

why is it that the wts likens their "governing body" with the royal priesthood of israel when it attempts to reason that it has god's holy spirit and backing, while at the same time, when this same jewish priesthood in discussed in a negative context it is never likened to the governing body.

every time that the same jewish priesthood's is said to be the object of god's wrath, the wts says that it actually represents christendom and the judgements it will receive.

it appears that the wts is only likening themselves to the royal priesthood of isarael when it is convenient for them.

if you are a jehovah's witness parent i would like to say something to you.. shame on you!.

shame on you for belonging to an organization of men who teach you that your children and your family should be less important to you than obeying their words, just because they claim to speak for god.

shame on you for not remembering that loving and caring for your family should be your first priority.

It is their ( parents' ) responsibility to protect their children. If I found about what the WTS was doing, I would get my kids out of the org right away. But these JW parents are not doing so. They are keeping their children in the org. because they believe and put the WTS ahead of their own children. Why do you think they are staying in there? Salvation for themselves. When their grown children get DF'd or DA'd because of the WTS's injustice, do you think they are going to be outraged against the WTS? No, they are going to shun their own children. They are going to say, "Whatever the Society says, we shall do." Why? Because they don't want to get killed at Armaggedon. Well, let me remind you that the WTS told them they would if they don't listen to their "Theocratic Organization".

Regarding Dia's post: I agree 100%, but ( I hate to say this ) I think it is a wishful thinking. It'll be like dream come true if the government takes sever punishment on the WTS and those irresponsible parents.

on reading the september issues of watchtower and awake, i had a good laugh at the hypocrisy that leaped out at me.awake sept 8th 2002 :"to believe that numerological interpretations are accurate, when they are based upon such widely variable factors as calendar and language, is to stretch the limits of credibility to an absurd degree.".

considering the amount of ridiculous number crunching done by the society, how amazing that they print that statement!

if i remember rightly 607 date is based on an interpretation of calendar dates and the 'language' of the bible (which they always manage to skew to their doctrine).

Going out in service......once again.

well...it's sunday again and its time for me to get ready to go "out in service".. exept now, instead of putting on a long dowdy skirt , blouse up to my fricking neck and geeky shoes, i will be putting on sweat pants,a tee shirt and high top rebocks.. instead of carry a bag with watchtowers and awakes..i have a backpack with leaflets about protecting your children.. 25 years ago if anyone told me i would be doing this i would have said your out of your mind!!.

thank you wt for stripping my dignity away by sending me door to door preaching your bull shit.. because now...every door i go to i am slowing regaining my dignity and self worth.. thank you wt for training me so well...how does it feel to have your own "weapon" aimed back at you??

WHERE DO YOU LIVE??????????????????????? In where I am people think $1,000 per month one bedroom apartment with a dishwasher is a GREAT deal! Now I'm going to move out to rent a house soon, and I'm expecting to pay at least $1,700, no more like $2,000 per month for 3-bedroom 2-bath house.
