  my wife is a jw.. i've been trying to point out the errors of the wtbts but she just doesnt want to hear it.. i'm wonder if some people could share your turning point in regards to your relationship goes.

  I'm sorry that your wife is a jw. You have gotten a lot of good advices in this thread. She is going to shower you with all informations about other religions: how false they are. If she does, try to share your version of "how the Watchtower is false". If she wouldn't look at it, then you don't have to look at what she brought.

  The Watchtower lies to recruit more new members everyday. I was one of their victims. Please read Crisis of Conscience. I read it when I was having my own crisis of conscience, and it really touched me deeply. Since you are not a jw, you may not understand the magnitude of the problems or troubles that your wife is in. From the day one she is trained to defend the Watchtower Society. I just hope she is not brain-washed too much. And remember that you shouldn't be hasty, either.

  Sometimes you need to make new friends if your old friends are destructive. Don't just shun your old friends just because they are not Jehovah's Witnesses. They are the ones who can love you no matter what, whether you are a Jehovah's Witness or not.

  Jehovah's Witnesses only cares about Jehovah's Witnesses. If you are not one of them, they consider you as "a worldly" and source of evil. They will make you shun even your own family members.

  Please do more research on them before you join. Many of us here didn't have opportunities to do that years ago, and now regret dearly. Stay around in this forum and ask a lot of questions. And get a copy of "Crisis of Conscience" by Ray Franz. The J.Witnesses will say it is an apostate material. But it is not. It just happens to be a book showing the facts about the Watchtower Society and their dirty laundry, which are not allowed to even talk about among the J.Witnesses.

  Please sugar, don't make a hasty decision.

  1975 watchtower or earlier

  i need to know if there was anything in 1975 awake or watchtower or even before ,that states armageden will be in 1975. i asked my jw huband about this and he told me there is nothing printed about the end in 1975 ,that it was a bunch of jw talk not from the org.

  if so how do i find the magazine?

  any help would be great.

  kls, as Elsewhere said you can go to a local Kingdome Hall's library and look it up. Or you can have your husband get one of those Watchtower Library CD Rom. But my guess is that KH's library will be the best bet since there might be the original print out. The CD Rom version is edited.
