Min, I think you asked this question before.
Yes, I am much much happier now. Whenever I think back of my jw life, I can't believe that I stayed that long.
jws say, "the apostates are miserable!!
".....do you feel miserable?
(i don't).

my mom told me yesterday that my friend (while growing up) who is an elder again, (after years of mental problems), came to her house and inquired as to how my family and i are doing.
he said we have become a subject of conversation at a recent get together..... of course, my mother started crying, told him to ask me himself and told him she did not wish to talk about this subject since it severely depresses her.
he backed off but shortly asked again.
Minimus, what would you do if he comes at your door this Saturday?
damn!
witnesses are stupid.
i'm going to a family wedding this weekend of a non-jw family member.
Uhg, tell your mom and your ex-wife not to get reinstated, please!
Jws can get very technical. I'm just glad that you got to vent out.
often the jw taught something, and came back a few years later to teach just the opposite.
example: will the men of sodom be resurrected?.

Per Johnny, imagine if the Watchtower Society "pissed" off some militant Muslims
Now, that's an interesting idea!
something odd has happened, my 25 year-old mind is trapped in a 63 year-old body!
(sigh)
my hubby sent me a card that said "i'm so glad you decided to stick around for another year!
Happy birthday, sunspot! I, too, am glad that you are around!

please click link as i posted this in two places deliberately.
we need solid advice from former elders moderators please don't erase one.
Well, if you don't agree with the WTS 100%, you are considered at least somewhat "apostacy". If you want to be reconsidered as a clean jw, go and act like a die hard jw. Don't miss the meetings, go out in the field service everyday, and make lots and lots of comments at the studies. There.
But do you really want to be a jw?
i'm cooking a leg of lamb for tea tonight.
yum.
i just love roast lamb and the smell it creates through the house while it's cooking.. we don't eat much, just me and two little kids, and there will be heaps of left overs so who's coming to help us eat it all?.
Wait, if you are cooking a leg of lamb for "tea", what do you cook for your dinner?
sunshineToo with a great curiousity

Ooh, stefanie, I was thinking of that just now. Yum!
Save a spot at your dining table for me, please. I'll bring a bottle of bubbly.
I'm United Nation.
Oh, my, iis2cool! What kind of answers did you have? LOL
hey guys,.
i was just reading some of the early, early posts and...oh, man...please excuse me.... ok...you know how you always feel better after you've been sick?
anyway.... i didn't know this board started out with...umm...a very different attitude towards the jw's.
In the beginning......you couldn't be outrightly vs. the Watchtower. Most of the boards S L O W L Y introduced dissension and "apostate" ideas. Even certain "prominent" ones got into the internet board craze until "Mother" said otherwise.
Wow, really? I wonder how it started. I wonder how people reacted to "dissension and apostate ideas."
