by czarofmischief inthis is a personal venting topic - mostly getting some things that have happened in the recent past off my chest and laying it all out where i can see it.
so don't answer or even read it if you don't care - i know.
i'm whining, but mostly to see if i can focus some of this energy.... anyway, i'm furious right now.

czarofmischief, so sorry to hear that you're having a bad day! It's okay to vent sometimes! We all need to let off steam sometimes! Hope your finger get's better! When you say, you're crazy, what do you mean? Do you mean that you are taking medicine for something? I'm bi-polar *which was triggered by a trama in my life* and some would call me crazy! lol I just had a tough time dealing! But then again, I think it's good to get alittle crazy sometimes! You'll be okay! Just hang in there buddy!
Oh and one more thing.....be proud of yourself for working, you're doing a honest mans work, work is work. You have no reason to feel bad about working at Starbucks. Oh, by the way, I love Starbucks. That's where we all met for a ex j.w. meet-up!

got a couple of problems at work at the moment and im not quite sure where to step.
basically, i run the state branch office in a service and spare parts organization.

I'm sure Refiners Fire, you'll get alot of advice! My advice would be to hold off alittle bit and not do anything at the moment. Just see how it goes after he's gone and when it's obvious that your work load has increased, then I would probably talk about a pay raise. Good luck buddy and let us know what'cha do!

So sorry Micheal. I got a similar letter from my mother. She didn't have anything to do with me for 13 years. Only really got to spend the last few years of her life, before she died. We missed so much. So many people in the same situaiton here, as you can see. I still have family in the org. I hope your brother and family and my family someday leave the org. Hang in there buddy.

Thank you so much for sharing your story! As you can see, your story has alot in common with many here *including myself* So glad to see someone come out and not be afraid. I knew I was doing the right thing when I left the borg., and I had to be true to myself. *even at the risk of losing my family, which I did. We can only hope that one day our families will leave also!

Son goin to Metallica concert in Dallas,,,,,,OMG
by LyinEyes inwell the day he and his best buds have been waiting for is here.
they are in dallas going to their first huge concert ,,,,,, i am not sure all the bands that are playing , but it is going to be a once in a lifetime thing.......so i let him go.. i am a little nervous about it , but i am so happy that he is living the life that i never could.
i pray and hope they make it home safe and sound,,,,,,,i know i have to let him go little by little, usually i would say , not safe,,,,and say no.

Oh I LOVE Metallica. Seen them 3 times!!! They are awesome and their new c.d. is killer! The 7th song makes me think of the j.w.'s. It's called *Shoot me again, I ain't dead yet* Anyone heard it? The whole c.d. is awesome. Maybe their best yet.
Lyin, your boys should be okay. Metallica draws all kinds of people. You'll see all kinds of people at a Metallica concert. All the way from Hard Rock Head bangers, to preppy yuppies! They will have a blast. They're not coming to Nashville on this tour so I wont get to see them. =:o(

Russ, you're right, there's not a thing wrong with taking a anti-depressant. I take them and half the people I know take them. I hope you're feeling better today. =:o) I know this isn't a easy situation. Sometimes I get really angry, but I am learning as I get older, that it helps *me* to let go of the anger, it's a struggle sometimes. We've all got good reason to be angry, but what helps me now is keeping my distance and living a peaceful, quiet, simple life. I try to stay away from all the drama that goes on in my family. I use to be right in the middle of it, now I'm learning it's best to choose to forgive, have compassion and always try to be civil if I run into any j.w.'s. Over the years getting angry has only hurt myself. Hope some of our advice has helped ya. Hope today is a better day for ya too! =:o)
