GOT RIPPED OFF !

you see my afternoon started off ok until.........
i had my credit cards stolen and all my cash out of my purse......i was going to my girlfriends house to pick her up to go birthday shopping for my son...i pulled into her laneway,ran into get her and left my van unlocked and running.

Halloween, As a Loyal JW, what did you do on Halloween ???
by run dont walk inremember those days.
turning off the lights and pretending nobody home, as the kids went around the neighborhood.
how pathetic we were !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

My Girlfriend's a JW, but I am not, What to do???
by Another Guy injust wondering if anyone can help, so heres a little insight into the situation.. we've been friens for ages but she always told me we could be nothing more she said "theres stuff you dont know about me & you wouldnt understand" but one night i kinda hinted that i knew and she fessed up not only bout being a jw but also bout how she felt only thing is she says its not gonna work, but she wants it to work she wants me to convert and i want her to leave the orgainization.
her mothers been a witness for ten years but her father is not.
also she hasnt paid much attention to it either till a few months ago and shes starting to get into it now.

My Brother Died Today

i consider all who post here as my family.we have all been hurt in some way.my brother died today.. blueblades,who has six sisters left.mom,dad,one sister and two brothers died.i'm the only man in the family now.

LADY LEE, THAT LOOKS SO COOOOOOLD!!!!! BURR!!!!!!!!!! Our leaves are now just turning gold and red. So pretty!!!! We've got fall weather down here in Tennessee. It was 54* today. Your neighborhood is so nice! Love all those old homes!

Are You Surprised By How Few Witnesses Have Called You???
by minimus ini've had a few people just recently call or try to visit with me and let me know that we are "missed".
but in reality, the phone hardly ever rings with a witnesses calling on the other end to see how we are.
after spending a lifetime in the organization, it would seem that this couldn't happen......but, i'm glad i'm not getting harrassed either.......did you get calls and visits from those that "missed" you??

My two elder brothers never called. I had a pioneer sister that would call on me. Looking back, I find it sad that the other ladies in the car group would wait in the car during her visit. Can you imagine now, your friends coming by and half of them stay in the car!!!!!! Unbelievable mentality.

My father committed suicide in front of my mother seven years ago. My mother was very ill with breast cancer at the time. The anger that I have carried around all those years can take it's toll on you. It takes alot of energy to hate that much. I was angry for being raised in a crazy j.w environmnet also. I was just angry about everything! I'm tired of it. My parents aren't around anymore for me to forgive or *not* forgive. But for me, forgivness is something that you do for yourself.

I Hate a Theif..!!

the theives took all of tink's jewelry she owned and some of mine as well.
she was wearing her wedding ring at the time but everything else is gone.

Six, I'm so sorry to hear that your truck got broken into. It is truly the pits. These people that do this have no idea what they do to a person when they steal from you! They take more than a few gold chains! I didn't realize that we were such easy targets. I've stood in this house many times and bragged on how safe we felt in this neighborhood! You are safe no where. This has been a very big learning experience for me! I wish this on no one.

Hey Guys! Thank you all for your concern. Anyone that has gone through this, can tell you, it's no fun. It's really scary to walk in your house and find that you've been robbed! I don't ever want to go through this again.
