A Midlife Crisis?

i left a good business *hair stylist and make-up artist*.

Thanks Chakk and Scooter, it really made me feel good to do that! I spoke with my sister-in-law this morning and she said that her mother really liked it too! Her father is doing better and that's good news!!! He's off the ventalator and they may be moving him out of intensive care.

Christmas gift ideas??? Help???
by Mulan ini have two teenage grand daughters, 14 and 17. they are both very beautiful (not just saying that) and the younger one is extremely popular in school, and has dark hair and blue eyes.
the older one is tall, long blonde hair, blue eyes, and works at an espresso stand, and is a junior in high school.
both are very trendy girls.

Mulan, something that my sister gave her daughter that was really nice, I thought, was a silver charm bracelet with one charm on it. Everytime she has a birthday or a special occasion, she will add a charm to it. When she graduated from high school, I bought her a charm to add to it. She's a junior in college now and it's full of pretty charms and they all hold a special meaning with a different memory in each of them.

I can only tell you what CC and I did. We were in the exact situation as yourself! After months and months of them hounding us, we finally told them to leave us alone, that we weren't going to meet with them. They gave us a dead line, told us if we didn't meet with them, then they would assume we had disassociated ourselves, which they announced later the next week. If I had it to do over, I would have told them that from the very beginning. It would have saved us a lot of time and distress. No more having to worry who's at the door or who's on the phone, ya know! It's like they're on a witch hunt. They literally make me sick!

Well, I did my first volunteer thing yesterday. My sister-in-laws father has been in the intensive care unit for a week after having kidney surgury. Her mother hasn't left the hospital once. So yesterday I loaded all my stuff in my case and went to the hospital. We made us a little beauty shop in the corner of the bathroom and I cut and styled her hair and did her make-up. I also gave her some of my Joe Blasco make-up. She seemed to enjoy it. I hope it made her feel better.
It sure made me feel good.

by Valis inmy ear is ringing really loud right now...i just got off the phone w/our very own jesika and she was very excited.
as she proceded to pierce my ear drum she relayed to me that channel 8 news is coming to her house today for an interview...guess what they will be discussing?!!!

The People and the Dream

This is the way I look at it. We really don't know what the future holds for us. Who's to say that one day we wont have another chance to be with them. Maybe this life is just getting us ready for the next one, helping us to learn what's really important in life.
Another thought that I consider. When I think of my j.w. family, I have to remember that I'm not the only one hurting. I know they miss me too. I know they hurt too. They really think what they are doing is the right thing and I feel bad for them. No one wins in this situation. I miss my sisters and brothers everyday, but what helped me was to let go of the anger. I felt that under all that pain, was anger. I saw my two sisters recently when I was at my brothers helping him clean up after the tornado that hit his home. In the past, I wouldn't speak because I knew they wouldn't speak. I didn't do that this time. When I saw them, I walked up to them and hugged them with all my might. I realized that I wouldn't see them after that unless there was another family crisis, but I still didn't let it chance who I was. If they choose not to have me in their life, then that's up to them. When I see them, I'm not going to act any diffenent than I ever do when I see someone I love.
