I am very familiar with this scripture and of course the organization will readily use it to discourage higher education and university education but not their outdated and running outdated publications that are reprinted frequently like never before.

Two Bible teachings JW's DON'T know about....
by BoogerMan in....but the november 2022 study watchtower will definitely instruct them.. 1) god's name is jehovah!.
2) jehovah is using an earthly organization to do his will - not jesus!.
in study article 45, 'jehovah' is mentioned at least 60 times.

Jesus last words to his disciples
Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the holy spirit comes upon you, and you will be witnesses of me in Jerusalem, in all Ju·deʹa and Sa·marʹi·a, and to the most distant part of the earth.”
Witnesses of me(Jesus) as simple as that is, Rutherford decides to go and pick a scripture that had no bearing or context relating to Christians.
First century "governing body" aka Peter states while inspired....... 1 Peter 4: 14,16
If you are being reproached for the name of Christ, you are happy, because the spirit of glory, yes, the spirit of God, is resting upon you. But if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not feel ashamed, but let him keep on glorifying God while bearing this name.
20th century Christian "governing body" aka Rutherford not inspired and can err in organisation directions and doctrines.... ........
; therefore we joyfully embrace and take the name which the mouth of the Lord God has named, and we desire to be known as and called by the name, to wit, Jehovah’s witnesses.”

on one occassion, i was before the elders being told i was drunk on a certain day at a certain time.
( this was only brought up because when i was pushing for a meeting because of elder mr x adultery , i was threatened somethings would be brought out about me if i persued the meeting.

Please no where in that account of Matthew 18 that elders were mentioned. Emphasis on your use of elders

20 Things I Don't Understand about Jehovah's Witnesses
by Vanderhoven7 ini don’t understand how jehovah’s witnesses can rightly claim:.
that less than 150,000 faithful christians existed prior to the 20th century....when allegedly millions were martyred during the first 3 centuries of the common era alone.
unique ability to interpret scripture...when interpretation of prophecy has been 100% wrong for over 130 years.. .

@ joao to simply apply their own standards of judging others will lead to their own detriment.
1. What makes a religion right is its total adherence to God’s Word. Whether our religion meets this criterion or not can only be determined by open-mindedly comparing it with the Bible.... Awake 1984
Jehovah’s witnesses cannot afford to be open minded. It goes against the set up of obeying and following directions that doesn't make sense from human point of view
2. Certainly such an important matter as our worship of God should not be determined for us by the coincidence of where we were born.....Awake 1984
Does not apply within the realms of authority of the GB.
3. After all, the child born to Catholic parents has had no more control over this fact than the child born to Muslim parents controls that..... Awake 1984I still wonder why the writer of this article cannot use JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES in the place of Muslims since their arch enemy is the Catholic. Why?

@ Fisherman
However, when the fulfillment of our expectations appears to be delayed, it may dampen our enthusiasm. We could even lose heart. (Prov. 13:12) This happened at the beginning of the 20th century. At that time, many anointed Christians expected to receive their heavenly reward in 1914. When that did not happen, how did faithful ones deal with their delayed expectations?... Watchtower August 2019 study article 31 paragraph 9
Where did the scripture or Bible ever states the anointed one will receive reward in 1914?
Who promised such a reward in 1914?
Who made the anointed one be in expectation in 1914?
Yet Jesus returned in 1914 spiritually 😂😂😂😂
In fact the remnant of the anointed according to WTBTS still remaining on the earth were not cleaned or free from babylon the great until until 1919.
and according to Vander......
This was in 1927. In that year the witnesses understood that the dead spiritual Israelites had been raised in 1918 to life in heaven with Christ Jesus. It was an invisible resurrection, of course." From Paradise Lost to Paradise Regained p.192

That the last days in Acts 2:17 is different from 2 Timothy 3:1😂😂😂😂😂😂
That they cannot see the TAUTOLOGY in MINISTERIAL SERVANT despite their arrogant theological scholarship 😂😂😂

3 years in the making
by Judgerussellford inthursday while i was at work, a new elder stopped by the house (almost 3 years after fading) to encourage us to go back to meetings.
said everyone misses us.
if you did, why not stop by and say hi every now and then?

@ Judgerusellford
Do well to get us a recording of your conversation with them. It might be of use or one to listen to.
Regarding DA
It all boils down to personal decision as it suits the circumstances and situation.
Were you a slave when you were called? Don't let it trouble you--although if you can gain your freedom, do so.(even by DA).
22
For he who was a slave when he was called by the Lord is the Lord's freedman; similarly, he who was a free man when he was called is Christ's slave.
23
You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.(even by DA)
24
Brothers, each man, as responsible to God, should remain in the situation God called him to.(even by DA)
Since they see DA and DF as same I rather let them remain in their judgemental mindset of grouping DA as those who they states in their manuals.......
"Of course, contact should not be made with active apostates, with those who are trying to lead others into sin, or with those who have made it known that they want nothing to do with the Christian congregation."
After all...... Whoever exercises faith in him is not to be judged. Whoever does not exercise faith has been judged already, because he has not exercised faith in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.
What right do they have to call others
1. Those who lead others to sin?
2. Apostates?
3. Those who have nothing to do with the Christian congregation?

2022-07-29-Announcement!
by Atlantis in2022-07-29-announcements--english.
2022-07-29-announcements-spanishpage 2, par.
3. on the other hand, some brothers and sisters—younger and in good health—have more favorable circumstances that may allow them to attend christian meetings regularly at the kingdom hall.
-
Longlivetherenegades
From the letter...... Can I put forth greater effort to worship Jehovah in person?
When members are sitting in the comfort of their homes and connect to the meetings it is not ENOUGH effort to be seen as worshipping Jehovah in person. That person must attend the KINGDOM HALLS as confirmation that they are indeed worshipping God in person.
LEGALISM at its best.
Jesus words in John 4. holds no meaning here :Jesus said to her: “Believe me, woman, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.
Cheers once again Atlantis
