i'll start by stating the obvious... according to the watchtower, the catholic church is a huge part of babylon the great which is led by satan and his demons.
raymundus martini, a catholic monk (who "represents" babylon the great to some extent), woke up one day in the 13th century and decided to alter yhwh so it can be easily pronounced.
hence the spanish-ish version of yhwh was created... jehova... (sounds something like this in spanish: heh-o-va).

if so, maybe there's a market for a Bible translation written in English, printed right-to-left, but for reading left-to-right, a mystical liturgy, refined seven times, you could probably start a sect based on it.
As an aside, it's funny to me that watchtower calls the deity 'Jehovah God' as if he has to have a first name and a last name like anyone else.

Let us strive for intellectual honesty.
Nobody here wants to remove the choice of family members to like each other or not, or to talk to each other or not. I am not sure it's credible to pretend to misunderstand that.
The 'whole point' is that watchtower does remove that choice, it mandates disfellowshipping and shunning for infractions both major and minor (such as exercising religious freedom), even arbitrary reasons, and keeps the reasons secret, and it does it to minors.
Comparing a kangaroo court with a Family Court of the real world is not sensible.
