  what about spanking?

  in most of the world spanking (not beating) is considered a valid form of correction up to a point.

  that point being at the time it is possible to reason with the child.

  Marcos, no need to worry. I was spanked as a child and do the same with my young'uns. I see no problem with it. I know many on this forum will disagree, having vowed to never 'raise a hand' to their child. I believe that opinion comes from personal experience, because of their parents' overzealous application of scripture. They feel that because there parents physically abused them, they feel they have to operate at the opposite end of the spectrum when it comes to disciplining their children.

  There is a happy medium IMO. Up to a certain age it is reasonable. I don't see a need to spank a child after around 10 or 11, though. Then, a different approach is needed. Then a parent can reason with them.

  There is no use trying to reason with young children. A sore bottom always gets the point across to young children.

  Dr. Spock was an idiot. He had no idea how much trouble he caused to society.

  And no, corporal punishment is not abuse.

  generally,saturday is designated as magazine day.street magazine work may also be engaged in.the more people that read our magazines the better our preaching of the kingdom good news will be.. so what happened to magazine day?i remember when we used to " blitz "a four block area in a short period of time on saturday mornings.not anymore,we can't let them apostates get anymore of our magazines!

  My brother had to get rid of his Steve Miller and Eagles 'Hotel California' LP 'cuz they were 'bad'. On the inside flap of the Hotel California LP, supposedly there was a picture of a drugged out woman that was construed as a demon. All the dubs freaked out about that. Kinda funny, but not at the time for my brother because he had to throw them out, after having to bust his ass for some old lady down the road just to earn enough money to buy them.

  p.o ,co blow out 1-11-03

  ok so last week i gave a little of the action my brother and i gave the elders in bruckner cong in the bronx... and the p.o made an appointment to talk today at 12:30 p.m. at my house ... so guess what they never showed up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  but the phone book is a great thing and we found him check this .his name is howard stern???????

  so we beat him for not phoning or droppping off a note that they couldn,t make it ,as we were wasted the beautiful day in waiting,.... this is mike talking well you can guess i got poor howard on the phone what a joke an the co now these people are appointed by the holy spirt that a joke ha ha lol these people dont know there ass from there elbow this guy was in the watchtower 4 30 year and is still in the dark well i told him obout the wt inthe bomb bussisness he told me i was lieing but i told him to come with me to wall street an the un scandel as we all live in nyc myb brother was willing to pay theres day pay and take them in a limo to wall street to prove what i was saying was true you can guess even with the promise of a days pay and a 50$ steak each win or lose at the best steak house house in nyc they stilled called me a lair!!!!!!!!!

  I liked Alan Dershowitz's take on it. He talked about the conversation between God and Lot, as to whether there were 1000, 100, and 10 faithful people in Sodom and if God would save the city if he found at least one faithful person.

  Governa made the right decision. The process is broken and seeing as innocent people are being convicted of crimes left and right, it's better to let a hundred guilty people live rather than execute one innocent person. The judicial process in this country is a joke. I wonder how many hundreds of innocent people have been killed already because of our judicial process. As much as I believe in an eye for an eye, it simply doesn't work in this country.
