  I heard the same thing on NPR, that some had made the comment that the stench came from New Jersey.....rotflmfao...Let's face it, New Jersey is the armpit of the U.S.

  And for you Brits, if New Jersey is this bad, how's old Jersey?????? Geez, I'm sorry....

  yesterday i was working outside a convenience store.

  a black woman and her little boy pulled up to get gas and were asked to use a credit card or prepay.

  this is common to everyone around here.

  Only after watching the Color of Fear did I get it. I guess I'm a racist too. I try not to be, but there's nothing I can do about it. I guess the 'dubs didn't do a good enough job talking about Jehovah's people and how they're color-blind. Maybe I'm over-analyzing it. Maybe no one cares...whatever

  this is what my daughter's history professor was telling her in class today.

  the reason why is because the people said that we shouldn't get involved in other nation's affairs and because they were tired of american's dying fighting other people's wars.

  in the late 80s or early 90s there was an item dealing with job and how he wished he had been an undiscovered pregnancy.. the wt basically said that the unborn would not get a resurrection.. i am digging in the mist here, but i remember talking to a friend and we agreed that if the unborn were not of value to jehovah so he didn't give them a resurrection, why was the wt$ so fussed over ivf and other treatments involving the unborn.. i am flagging this up cos skeeter wanted to know my source - and i no longer have most of my litterature.. hb.

  i find it encouraging to see that justice was chosen in this case, rather than the normal red tape and/or rules.. .

  terri given footage of irwin's deaththursday jan 4 00:14 aedtsteve irwin's wife terri has been given footage of her husband's death after queensland authorities broke with protocol to ensure it did not get into the wrong hands.. copies of the film, which shows irwin being stabbed in the heart by a stingray, have been destroyed, queensland state coroner michael barnes said.. he said footage was normally held in perpetuity but the destruction of the copies would prevent them being sold on the black market, news limited newspapers report.. the coronial investigation is almost complete and the footage was handed to terri irwin just before christmas, mr barnes said.. .

  "when the final police investigation report is received the coroner will, in consultation with ms irwin, determine whether an inquest is necessary," mr barnes said.he said police had told him unscrupulous operators would be willing to pay up to $1 million for the footage.. under usual coronial investigation protocols, a film or audio evidence is handed back to the owners and a copy made for the state to be held in perpetuity.. "i'm not sure whether we will be doing that in this case because of the risk it poses," mr barnes said.. he said police had a responsibility to ensure the footage was not leaked.. the findings of the coronial investigation into irwin's death are expected to be made public within weeks.. .

  Pardon my one-sidedness, but that country should have been wiped off the map 15 years ago. No rangers, SF, tactical air strikes. That country has no saving grace. And no oil. Nothing but hatred, death and destruction.

  It reminds me of that X-Files episode, where Mulder meets this genie who grants him three wishes. He wishes for world peace, and she wipes mankind from the face of the earth. The only way Somalia will be stable is if there's no one left there.

  I always enjoyed the interview a few years ago with Ricky Rachtman. He recounted how he would have to interview bands like Trixter all the while hating himself as well as them. He thought he was selling out having to talk to those jerks. And I vaguely remember the interview with Trixter. They had nothing substantive to say. I think they were just talking about the dirt bikes in their video. Needless to say Ricky thought they sucked.

  "Give it to me good" was a good tune though.
