Funny how people think we are being judged now. Maybe if the Apostates stayed in God's Organization they would have learned some good Principles.

Well people are being judged now, have been judged in the past and are going to be judged in the future. What would STAYING in the org help us LEARN principles. Most ppl who leave have already learned the principles in the bible. What they do with them is another issue. If you are talking about some new principles that need to be learned by sticking to your publishing company, then they are not from the bible, they are from the WT.

I'm sorry if someone said you and YouKnow will burn. You will probably grow old and Die, returning to the ground. I say probably because sometimes ppl die early. If you happen to die in a fire, you will burn but that isn't very likely anymore.

The DO NO HARM principle to Ethics could also apply to that.

What is the DO NO HARM principle to Ethics? I don't believe the God of the Bible is against doing no harm. He has destroyed people, and also given the power of the sword to the superior authorities, allowing them to do harm to people. Will this NO HARM ethics still be held if your God directs you to fight, as he has done in the past.

We are all away of Jehovah's qualities. Any Dub in the org for more than 2 months know this. One question, If Jehovah's qualities are as such, why isn't his organization? Is it a Just Org? Look at the Judicial Committee arrangement? Look what happens to those who question the Org? Love vs DF/DA arrangement. Power vs ..... Well, they do hold a lot of power. Fight against them and you get your life stripped from you. Wisdom vs Education...After you get any education beyond HS you hold more wisdom than most elders in the hall.

If I wasn't here sharing with everybody, I possible would have taken the easy way and slid back into the Borg. I needed some support, needed some backup and answers to all those canned questions you are asked when trying to leave. I am really happy that this board is here. I really can't thank you enough. You helped me get MY life back.

I don't want to shatter anyones happiness. I try to keep people from getting into the borg, but if they have been living for it for years and years, I don't want to cause that pain to them. I wouldn't want my wife ot leave. It would be too much of a shock to find out everything you lived for was a load of crap. It is VERY SAD to think that people put off being happy and doing the things they want in life to serve at a publishing company. They think they have all the time in the world. Its so sad I don't want to tell them they are wrong. They are going to grow old and die, just like the billions of other people through all history. I can't imagine the trauma they must feel once the few who leave after many years feel. The ONE life they have is GONE and WASTED. If people are happy, if they don't hold back things in life for a later time, than thats great. I'm sure there are witnesses like that. But I feel bad for the ones who sit on their ass or slave their lives away, thinking they will have another shot later.

i looked in local bookstores and couldn't find it and resorted to purchasing it online...i hate doing that.

it took weeks because i am a cheapskate and didn't want to pay for rush delivery.

I only read a bit last night because i had to go out drinkin with some buddies. It must have been the influence of all the demons possessing the book that made me go out with worldlies. I'm just excited and wanted to share...

My point was, which apparently many are incapable of grasping, is that under different circumstances the sort of hate and resentment that apostate Dubs carry around can easily result in fulfilling the prophecy that calls for such things to occur.

I grasp your point, but I don't agree with it. Just because people don't believe that the WT is "Gods Chosen People" doesn't make them hateful. We are sick of the hypocricy and intoleration that permeates the WT. We warn others of the dangers of joing such religion/movement. We discuss with each other the things that hurt us. This doesn't make us hateful people. There are probably some people who hate individual JWs. As people who Leave the WT, we have a unique viewpoint of it. We realize it isn't just another religion. It is something dangerous. We have a unique viewpoint that those who never have been in, and those who are still in can not possible see. We don't blindly follow what a few people in a publishing company tell us to follow. Calling us Evil and Hateful, telling us that we will die a horrible death by the hands of your god, saying we will deliver up your children to death; these are hateful evil things. I wish no harm to anyone, thats why I warn others of the ills of joining this publishing company. Your point is that we carry around some sort of HATE AND RESENTMENT. We do not. What we do carry is knowledge and understanding about the goings on inside the publishing company.

HATE AND RESENTMENT -- The only time I ever remember HATE being preached was within the KH walls. "Hate what is bad". That in itself is not a bad thing. We can hate murder, because that is bad. But when you extrapelate on this, which a certain publishing company is know to do, you start identifying that these "whats" that are bad. Homosexuality, then transfering it to homosexuals. Fornication, and thus onto fornicators. the world, then those in the world. By labeling these people as bad people, the WT then opens the door to hate all those who have different morals as the WT.

isn't this just a pitiful way of saying, 'i can't deal with my anger'....'just be passive and be quiet and don't have any expectations'....'life is just too difficult; count me out'....'i can't have any impact anyway so why should i even try?

What business is the WTBTS in anyway?

what prompts this question is my personal experience in attempting to obtain wt literature: i tried through my wife, who still attends a meeting or two, to obtain, via special order, two large print bibles (one in a major foreign language) and a concordance.

it turned out to be a cumbersome process that took a full six months to fill the order!

i don't know whether my experience is an aberration, but i've heard similar complaints from others regarding the length of time it takes bethel to deliver on the goods in anything but magazine orders.. watchtower bible and tract society?

I believe the problem lies within the congregation, not the publishing company. For large books to come through the congregation, the cong must pay for them. They don't get them until the money is sent to the publisher. Its kinda like a layaway situation. You put the order in and make payment until you can afford the books. Then you send off for them and you get them. This is just what I heard, correct me if i'm wrong guys.

QUALIFIED ELDERS---WHERE ARE THEY?

lately, more and more elders are either resigning or being deleted.

a few elders have been known to be "good elders", brothers that really did care about the flock more than the organization.

some that are presently elders are having their own crisis of conscience.most elders that i have come to know are quite simply, not that bright.

The last 2 elders who were appointed in my old hall were a joke. The first was a 45 year old, HEALTHY person who is on disability. I asked him why he was on disability and he said it beats work. I was so angry at him. They made him the second school overseer, which is even more redicilous. He mixes his singulars/plurals up so much its hard to listen to anything he says because you are too busy laughing. "Brother & sister, don't wes just loves this lovings arrangements?"

The other one talks fine, but he also is on disability (healthy young man).

Perhaps I don't know the full details, but if you can be an elder and poineer and be a husband, then you sure as hell can find some work. Its good that these ppl can take advantage of the world, but be no part of it.
