things are gettn interestinger and interestinger every day.
on the international scene any number of scenarios can serve as triggers to set off wwiii, or the tribulation, whatever you may prefer to call it.
the next cross-border atrocity by rogue militants could easily detonate a conflagration between nuclear-poised india and pakistan.

just a question that occurred to me.
how often do you post here?.
let me tell you about my posting habits to get the ball rolling.. i never post during the morning (equivalant to midnight-3am in america), purely because i a) have to get to work, busy busy, and b) i am not terribly lucid before my 3rd cup of coffee .
I can't discuss my posting habits as they're all dirty and Simon might get mad.........hehehe
I'm "working" from home right now so I check all the time..and post a lot. When July rolls around I'll actually have to work 4 days a week for an evil 6 hours a day, which means I won't be able to goof off as much...um I meant work from home as much...hehe

just got back from the hill country of southern texas, got to see the chickens and go swimming in the guadalupe.
some of you might have noticed that the last couple of weeks i've been on a bit of a tear....well, i feel much better for having seen the kiddies and their living arrangements and general condition.
here are some of their pics and you can find the rest at the following url...i would have embedded the url, but there are too many pics for all of that.
Um...no Moe, those are MY children......they moved w/their mom to Comfort, Texas about 2 or 3 weeks ago.

was reading zenpunk's thread about how it seems ex jw's go over the deep end and i tend to agree.
i think that is normal after being repressed for so long.. however, it would sure be nice if we had more than one chat room here.
i have visited the chat several times and it seems that usually (not always) it is about who was the drunkest, who had sex with someone, who is a lesbian, etc etc etc.
Another chatter and I WERE trying to discuss something this weekend and got all kinds of comments on that it was boring, etc. This is why I would like another room. That way when someone (maybe even me, gasp! lol) wants to talk about sex and parties we can be in that one and when we want to talk about other things in life we go to the other and don't bore those who want to only talk about that.
You are still wack!!! Who is your "we"? Lots of people chat and it goes on 24/7....ummmm its called a global Internet for a reason. Lots of info is exchanged, including crude material (hehe some of my own)... I don't know one user who has said another person's topics were boring, unless they were meant or seemed to be to troll...did it bother you enough to copy the transcript? probably not, so you can be steadfast in your neediness till then...

imissthedub, your list of topics in the chat room is sparse to say the least. You always have the option of ignoring some chat just like you have the option to ignore some posts..."If mine post offends thee click not!!"....you can also support any topic in the chat room by addressing individuals and starting conversation. Its hard to expound on much when there are a lot of people...just like threads, except they disappear a bit slower...same concept...BTW, what would you discuss in this "other forum"? Would you prefer only some chat there, or just droll on about that which doesn't offend you?

i was pondering this theory this morning - what do you all think?.
a few months ago i went to visit someone from my last congregation who is now also an x-jw.
what is interesting is that, though completely straight-laced within the congregation, he became absolutely out of control once he left and is now trying to figure out how to get his life together.
Thus, when some people leave, they haven't a clue about their own personal "rules system" since everything was always decided for them
Oh I had lots of clues about my personal rules system...no killing, no stealing unless I'm starving...try not to kill myself or harm others...avoid arrest, stay happy, make money.....hmmmm can't think of much else I started off with...but yeah I went off the deep end...
Valis of "still off the deep end class"
Eman brought up the concept of the Amish tradition of Rumspringa the other day where the Amish kids get to go buck wild before they commit to becoming members of the congo. They are encouraged to do so and are greeted w/open arms if they decided they didn't like Beer, Jack Daniels, cocaine, fornication, and all things worldly, but wanted to become Amish instead...JWs could take a few ques from the Ultra conservatives...
