  did you know that 99% of the egg farms throughout the world apply the same barbaric methods to produce the eggs we consume?

  these methods were printed in detail in our local newspaper this sunday and they are shocking!!!

  I guess hibiscusfire never heard that arrogance breeds contempt.. I am a bit weary of the infomercials this one keeps posting. I would also like to remind that this forum is not anyone's outlet for preaching and putting the beliefs of others down.

  i am finally ready to move to dallas!

  i pick up the moving truck friday morning, load up and head out of ohio about 1 a.m. monday, which will get me to dallas monday evening.

  tsunami...Don't lie about having a job...that leads to shrinkage in the parental funding dept....why don't you see about getting something to do on campus...tutoing opportunities, volunteer/internlooks good on your record and give work in library or other campus facility? This puts you on campus more close to study material and gives you an out...plus if you are doing sports you won't have time to do anything else on the weekends..

  i've just been messing around on the net with yahoo groups.

  there's some interesting ones on there for ex-witnesses, although lots of "dead" groups with no activity.

  anyone got any experience of starting one (not necessarily ex-witness related - anything).

  i've been talking with one guy for about a week now and he's asked to meet for coffee.

  Don't Isolate Yourself. You Could Become Demonized!

  my mom told me that the sept. 15th watchtower is made just for her.

  i don't know the name of the article but she said the watchtower was counseling us on how we must not isolate ourselves, grow disenchanted with jehovah and his people and stop attending meetings faithfully.

  the article quotes job 4:12-17 where eliphaz has a vision and is really a false comforter to job.

  i'm interested in how many here give to the homeless, or any kind of charity, since that was not a part of the witness experience.

  i have to admit that my heart is hard ...

  I have some old guys downtown I give food to and sometimes cigs...they are always nice and thankful...and yeah living outside does wacky stuff to your brain and you have to be careful when you deal with some homeless people as they are aggressive and simply don't care if they go to jail or assualt you trying to get change.Three hots and a cot is better than living on the street..

  well, i finally found out what is wrong with me.

  my shoulder has been killing me for a good reason.

  i saw an orthopedic doctor and he said he thought the problem was actually from my neck and not my shoulder.
