  Our Anniversary Surprise

  yesterday, the kids surprised us with a sunset dinner cruise, as their gift to us for our anniversary.

  it was very elegant, on the top deck of a large catamaran, dining vessel, off of waikiki and diamond head.

  we had waiters (not a buffet) and great entertainment.

  my 1st grandchild finally arrived yesterday, the 27th!

  she's the 1st child in our family born outside "the truth" in 67 yrs.

  Losing my neice was the hardest thing for my parents, they were wonderful parents and loved their grandaughter to peices, breaks my heart to see it. I guess I need to hurry up and have some more for em hahhahahha

  after a year of doubting if i would ever be free from feeling ties to the wt, i am proud to be known as an apostate.

  before i was so concerned with what some of the "friends" , would think of me, how they would think the worst of me for being an apostate.

  now i hope they do think about me,,,,,,,, i hope they know i want nothing to do with most of them.

  Which I told the elders "well then every JW that has kept up with 'present truth' and 'new light' is an apostate (big chessy grin)" they were all stunned, so one said well lets see what Websters says, so he went and got a 'worldly' source for the definiton bwwahahhahahahahah.

  just watched an episode of 80s sitcom 'married with children', al & peggy get mixed up with a gay couple, fairly funny stuff!

  anyhoo.... there's a neat scene were al, answering his front door, says to himself 'i hope it's a jw cuz i feel like a nice deep chat' (or something like that) & he picks up a baseball bat as he opens the door!!

  like i said, fairly funny stuff, but it got me thinking: what other tv shows/movies feature scenes with (or ref to) jws???

  I can't remember exactly how it goes maybe someone can help me but in John Grishams 'The Rainmaker' Matt Damon goes to the door as a lawyer, and the old lady doesn't want to open it because she says he looks like a JW, he says no JW mam. wish I could remember better.

  Hmmm I don't like the flavor of tabasco for some reason. I use Crystal or Chalula. I do like the really spicy on 'slap my ass and call me sally' at a mexican resturant

  ) i hit this forum as soon as i wake up, read forum as i am eating breakfast, read forum again after i finished showering, hit forum while i am getting dressed, hit forum last minute before leaving for work and hit forum when i get home from work.. *passes on thread to the next poster*.

  HELP!!! I need a name

  we can't agree on a name for our soon to be born baby boy.. i love the name tristen.

  he hates it.. he wants a basic name like bobby, tony, etc.. is there a name that sounds like tristen but isn't?.

  give me some ideas if you can.

  Or you could make everyone happy and call him 'Jobert'

  Mom likes the name Hayden for a boy I think it's kool too, I like last names for boys provided they go well with their actual last name.

  Ohhh and another side note please don't name him 'Rory' I can NOT pronounce that one.
