Think how psychologically damaging it would be for your children to see that your own mother despises you and won't speak to you. Do you want your children growing up thinking that that's okay? The only possible way you could allow her to see them is if she could act like normal around you and enjoy being with them. That is part of necessary family business, seeing and being with your grandchildren. She is a moron and you are better off without her. Although I don't pretend to think that this makes it feel any better. I'm sorry for what you're going through.

PLEASE don't let your kids be alone with her. You know she will think it is her godly duty to lie to you willingly and try to save them. I would let her come over even though she doesn't deserve it, but I would NEVER let her be alone with them. Be smart, protect them from her.

by redvip2000 inmy facebook was "lit up" today with all the out cries about the possibility of the organization's website being banned in russia.. as many of you recall this past august a court in russia banned the website and sought to make accessing the website in russia illegal.
well tomorrow the appeal by the org will be heard in court.
if the appeal is denied, jw.org will no longer be available in that part of the world, causing endless lamentations and cries of "persecution", only to bolster the idea that they are truly hated by the world because they are true christians.

by smiddy inplease help me out here .. in genesis 2:16 it says " and jehovah god also laid this command upon the man: from every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction.
17 but as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it , for in the day you eat from it ,you will positively die.. ok we get that , but what about this ?.

Well the account pretty clearly indicates they had to be barred from the garden so that they didn't eat from it and live to time indefinite. It doesn't say so that they could no longer eat from it. It very clearly gives the impression that it was important to remove them since they had just eaten of the one tree, then they also might eat of the other.
