he said the end must be close because people are so discouraged that the organization can't last more than 10 years.

Chat with Elder, how would you reply?
by awakening inhad a sit down chat with an elder who is aware of my doubts.
we were on the subject of new light, i was saying that if the org changes a teaching then the old teaching was wrong and cannot qualify as truth at the time it was taught, so where did the falsehood come from?.
his response was the gb is imperfect!!

More of the same as others from me... But, Assuming the bible is 100% fact and inspired, then this logically follows.
Jesus HAD to be betrayed by Judas in the exact way he did it according to prophesy. But, god doesn't choose to see the future... I mean think about it. If god chose to see the future he could have just said, NO Satan, your way will fail and billions will die on earth and in heaven. I forbid it. The angels and people all know god can't be wrong. So they would have had to agree with it and it would have been Okay like that! Instead, god said free will won't let me look into the future. Unless I'm prophesying about stuff like I do all the time while you all suffer and die...
No... Its all BS.

I have a different take on the dwindling number of partakers. Now that they adjusted the rules and said the sealing didn't end in 1935 it just doesn't matter. In fact they could spin the increase as a sign of how close we are if they wanted. They adjusted the understanding a few years ago. Well ahead if the curve. Smart assholes they are.

Two things that are the exact opposite cannot both be right. You don't say this is black and then later this is white and get the satisfaction of saying both were right.
The WT changed its stance from one of black to one of white. One was wrong or both are still wrong, they are not both right. They live in absolutes and don't get the pleasure of switching like That.

I don't know if how I feel makes total sense philosophically or logically, but for me spirituality is not dependent on religion or god. If I am out in nature seeing something amazing then I feel small, quiet, reverent, and amazed. Same for staring up into the clear night sky at the stars. It's the wonder of real life and what I physically feel and see. I have also tried and really enjoyed yoga. I don't really think I'm into all the spiritual stuff that some yoga people are but I can get it. For me, since we are all made of star dust, then we are all connected in a way. Not a weird spiritual way or new age way, just in that all that we can see and feel on earth is from the same space dust. Even when we die, our atoms are recycled and so those we lose are truly still around in a way. That's about as spiritual as I get these days.

You wanted to move. You submitted resumes and because you are smart and worth hiring you are interviewing.
If you had woken up to money in the bank you didn't have before and plane tickets on the dresser magically appearing over night, then maybe it's god. Dont sell your hard work and what YOU do short. Be glad you wanted to accomplish something and that YOU are making it happen!

Yes! It all goes back to the fact that there is no issue of Universal Soveriegnty being decided right now. Because people STILL haven't had the chance to try to rule themselves and see if they can. They have had spirit meddling since the beginning. How can you let demons mate with people, control countries and cause wars and then say humans can't do it on their own. They haven't had a chance!!!!
