  I hate thunderstorms....

  i really hate thunder storms, must admit.

  i try not to hide in my basement anymore though, shuddering in a corner, reading a book by flashlight waiting for them to pass.

  unplugging all electrical applicances, telephone outlets, like a mad woman... looks like we're gonna get one tonight, it's getting closer to us, as per weather.com.

  Why the Memorial?

  why is it that everyone and his cousin shows up for the memorial?

  what is it about this meeting that makes people come out of the woodwork?

  is it like going to church on easter and christmas or something?

  I think, that a lot of pressure is put on those who dont go by active dubs. I know many relatives would not be there if their family wouldnt pressure them.

  many of us here, are not sure what the future holds, if there is a god, and if so what is his purpose.

  i too fall into that category, but i think im better off now because when i was a dub, i always wondered if i was doing enough to get into the new world.

  i worried about if my children would make it and if i was taking the lead for my wife and the cong.

  Many of us here, are not sure what the future holds, if there is a god, and if so what is his purpose. I too fall into that category, but I think Im better off now because when I was a dub, I always wondered if I was doing enough to get into the new world. I worried about if my children would make it and if I was taking the lead for my wife and the cong. I feel sorry for those still in, I know they look down on us, and think we are worm food, but they have no life, they are not allowed to be adults and make their own decisions, they have to obey the WT.

  5 meetings a week, service, WT reading, having friends that will dump in a heart beat if the elders DF you, and they dont even know if you really did anything wrong. Yeah I think we are better off.

  DID ANYONE EVER ENJOY GOING IN SERVICE?

  i was raised with a bookbag in my hand.

  every saturday and sunday our family was out in service.i vacation, temporary and auxillary and regular pioneered.

  i never enjoyed it but did it because i was supposed to do it.

  NOT NO BUT HELL NO!!!!! I hated it, and that shows the power of their control cause at one time I did it for 90 hours a month.

  Wearing a suit, what a feeling!

  i don`t know about anyone else but evertime i get in a suit still after 16 years i feel like i am going to a meeting or going in service.

  i get these eary wierd feelings like someone is controlling what i am wearing or if it is appropriate.. i think i need some apostate therapy.
