this question came up recently and i was amazed at how many modern day j-dubs feel it was no time at all.

but jw publications have long stated that is was years in duration.

what do you remeber and provide citations if possible..

Do you think the age has passed when there can be no new religions?

i think we are already living in the age where there can be no new religions.

we have access to information like never before and anyone claiming revelations of something new and starting a whole new religion can easily be discredited.. christianity and islam may continue to subdivide but i think we've pretty much seen the end of anything new in terms of a new belief system.. .

what are your thoughts on this?.

do you ever get the feeling some on this site represent a view of themselves, as needing to "shine"?.

academia by it's very nature represents this.

if one is truly a member of academia then "knock yourself out".

i was sending out emails and got to 110 when a "new recipe" came in and it was included into the emails.

but for those who had already received an email, they did not get the "new recipe".
