  Need help locating WT destroying U.S.Buildings

  i am in need of references to watchtower publications that contain images.

  of united states government buildings, especially the white house-.

  depicted as being violently destroyed by the watchtower society.. i have much of the wt literature pre-1992, and a bit of the post-1992 stuff,.

  I think most of the survivers are happy to be alive, but I don't think they are laughing and feeling Joy right after the tragedy.
  They probably are not even feeling happy right now, WHY?

  Because they feel bad! Like most normal people feel at this tragedy.

  NBC Dateline vs WTS & WTC

  in the past few days i have been wondering if the wtc events will cause trouble or help the dateline show regarding the wts and child abuse.

  at first, i feared that the wtc terrorist attack would so overwhelm the news media and the hearts of america, that the jw issue with abuse would seem rather second place.

  but .... then again, the wts issue could keep the jws so glued to the tv because they think the great tributaltion is starting, that when the daeline story airs, it will catch them off guard.

  I think and it's only my .02.

  I don't think the WTC will overshadow Dateline among the JW community, as much as the United States in general. Maybe?

  I think their having their hope postponed along with the Dateline airing will make many leave.

  I feel that if a few month more pass from the WTC Tragedy, it will have more of an impact on the Whole JW community and even the whole USA.

  ...suffering was not so bad.

  his "perfection" and understanding of the situation would certainly have mitigated his suffering.. his death was not really death, not in any meaningful sense.

  it was a 15 second nap, using bible reasoning.

  Isn't it funny how everbody has different sets of facts, and how they all claim to be right?

  Well I just beleive.

  I'm not a scientist I don't claim to be very smart. I don't have the ability to pour over many many books and study at this or that university, I'm about as regular as they come.

  So each side has its facts, so I say to myself with my very limited education and book learning, "I think its better to beleive in God and Jesus it makes more sense to me"

  I think things that God does are very difficult to explain we only have lived a few years, maybe if we live 5 billion years are veiws change and we see!

  Thats my $.02 I don't want to convert nobody yet, maybe someday when I'm smarter.

  Why are JWs scared of death?

  i have been thinking a lot lately about death.

  this is not surprising considering the turn of events on the 11th.. i have been re-awakened to the transient nature of human life and how it can go in the blink of an eye.

  as the bible says life is vanity and a striving for the wind.. with all of the talk about world war 3 and how dangerous this world has become, i have been on a bit of an emotional roller coaster this past week.. the fear of dying is a normal and basic emotion.

  You got it pretty much right on track.

  When my father who only studied with the JW said to me:
  "The only reason your a JW is because your afraid of death. I'm not afraid of death"
  When my father said those words, and every word is true, I started to wake up.
  From then on, I was on my way out of the JW's, even though it took four years.

  Dan Rather on Dave Letterman last night

  watching the david letterman "late show" last night was very touching.. dave had on as his main guest, dan rather, cbs newsman and anchor.

  of the cbs evening news.. now, this man, rather, is supposed to be a hardened journalist,.

  whose job is to report the news objectively and hide emotions/opinion.. he has seen a lot in his long career as a journalist.. he broke down in tears last night twice while dave was interviewing .
