  Gender in The New System?

  the org teaches that in the new order those that have been brought back to life will "neither marry or be given in marriage" the earth will be eventually filled by those that make it through the big a.

  (if that's the case there would be alot of sex happening in the new order.

  i was looking through the photodrama of creation book the other day and read the page dealing with mother eve created (p.9).

  Spies?

  i see alot of references on this site regarding "lurkers" and "spies".

  i have been thinking a bit on this topic and came up with a question.

  do you think the governments or other religious organizations plant moles or spies among the jw's?.

  Elder Visits

  they are wanting to come visit and wanted to set up a time.

  i put it off citing family issues.

  Photodrama of Creation

  i was going through some old jw books of my aunts and found one entitled the photodrama of creation.

  it is missing the 1st few pages but it is really interesting to look through.

  i did notice that there is almost no mention of jehovah's name in the book althought it talks about jesus and the church constantly.

  Innocent

  when i listen to this song i can see parallels with myself finding out that it is not the "truth".

  i was very much a believer and gave my all only to have it all shattered.

  Thoughts

  doing the "fade" thing is like a slow, painful torture to me.

  i have to do the fade because of my current circumstances (wife being a jw but starting to doubt/both our families very strong jw's).

  it makes me angry at having wasted so much time and energy (and money) being a jw.

  Special Meetings?

  i haven't been here in awhile but i should be popping in a bit more frequently from now on.. i just wanted to ask what is up with these special meetings they are going to have?

  i live in southern ont.

  and there is one taking place next sunday at copps in hamilton.

  Isaiah's Prophecy Volume II

  well...i was skimming throught the new isaiah book released at the dc.. read the chapter entitled "true worship expands worldwide".

  starting on page 316 it talks about organizational progress and makes use of isaiah 60:17 "instead of the copper i shall bring in gold, and instead of the iron i shall bring in silver, and instead of the wood, copper, and instead of the stones, iron: and i will appoint peace as your overseers and righteousness as your task assigners".

  in the explanation it is said that replacing copper with gold is an improvement as are the other material mentioned.in harmony with this jehovah's people have been experiencing improved organizational arrangements throughout the last days.. what a load of ##@@@@...talks about the way elders and deacons were appointed and how it was improved and changed down through the years.. then it makes mention of changes at the gb level and gives this example---"an example of the latter was seen on october 7,2000, when it was announced that members of the gb who were serving as directors of the wts and affiliated corps had voluntarily stepped aside.

  How Should I Do This?

  okay....in a few weeks we(wife & kids) are going to visit my parents.

  they have been jw's for a long time.... a little back-ground info...a couple of years ago i said the hell with being a jw..grew a goatee (wife said it made me look evil..:) and wanted nothing at all to do with being a jw..elders actually left me alone for the most part...talked to my parents...my mother kinda freaked but my dad said basically that he understood and that i gotta do what i gotta do ..said if he could help i could call...cool.

  i have changed alot in that couple of years on the inside..how i feel and think...i am re-examining everything related to jw's and have found many very disturbing facts..i want to talk to my parents about them but i am not sure how to go about it...my mother is the emotional type..doesn't get to deep if you understand my meaning...my dad on the other hand was an elder for many years and is an analitical type person...very down-to-earth.....anyways...does anyone have any suggestions how i can talk to them about what i have found out without them freaking out and calling me apostate?.

  man...is my butt sore!...

  (my head too)...went to the dc today.thought i would give ya a run down with a few observations.

  usual crap about daily text and how important it is...yawn..not awake yet.
