  My daughter was just in an accident

  i just had a call a couple of hours ago from my ex.

  she said my youngest daugher was in a bad car accident.

  i asked her what happened, and told me that she was just pulling out from the drive way, and made a left turn.

  i will probably have a cook out with my kids and play volley ball.

  i've lived here for about 1 1/2 years and haven't seen a single jw.

  i read all the posts where there have been run-ins, people called on, elders talked to, etc.

  and couldn't hardly wait for my turn.

  I continued on my walk. Pulled out a smoke and realized that I didn't need to engage them. Don't get me wrong - if one came to my door, and I could invite them in, and if I was in a fiester mood.... but on this particular morning, I felt good to be "OUT". I didn't need to tell her about the UN, or ask a question she couldn't answer.... I was just enjoying my reaction to them. There was none.

  This, darlin, is a sign that you're really free I think.

  I don't understand why you are so scandalized : that is what the US says in its mannor : Take Care, be our slaves or we're gonna nuke you ! (the probleme is not about take care, it is about be our slaves) and who nuked already. Anyway I do not agree with any kind of fear manipulation and greedyness ! and they are both sides (a few) to Fuck up every others people life !

  French, honey, if you got a better solution to the problem I'm listening...problem is, the terrorists aren't. The US isn't trying to make anyone a slave. Start being a bit more critical of the killers please.

I'm sure we'll disagree again, but for now we've decided we went to far, have kissed and made up (nice minty mouthwash by the way Simon). I'd still have a beer with anyone on this board.

  after nearly 3 1/2 years living in this "dead zone" they call knoxville i have finally met up with someone local from the board.

  Paradise Now!

  it occurred to me yesterday that, for the most part, the jw dream of paradise could be created by us lowly humans.

  sure, the animal kingdom would still have predators and prey, we would not be immortal, and the weather would still have a mind of its own.

  however, most of the conditions you see pictured in jw literature could be created by us humans.
