by sleepy in(not, ray franz owes us an apology) .
(ok lets add this on)do those who are or were governing body members have a greater amount of responsability than witnesses in general?at what point do we stop being victims and become instigaters?

Was your witness worship acceptable to God?
by sleepy infoir those who believe in a god.. do you feel that your worship as a jehovahs witness was acceptable to god?.
if yes, then why did you leave?.
if not, that means god has a certain satandard of worship, how do you know you meet that now?

Yes, because I was doing my best, and I left because the JW Organization, with its hypocracy, double standards, child abuse, and blood issue is not acceptable to God.

Spice is right - and the fact that he was so flirtatious isn't cool either.

I left a successful career years ago because I was madly in love with a married man and I couldn't deal with it. I suffered unemployment and immense depression and starting over at a crappy job. It took me about 5 years to really move on and now I have a very good job again, ten times better than what I was doing before. I know its painful, but the worse thing I did was let my grief drag on for 5 years! He took my youth away from me! I even called his house a couple of times in my foolishness, but, despite his supposed feelings, his wife is the mother of his children and that's a hard bond to break. He's married and will probably stay with them, even if you break his front door down and tell the entire family about your love.
I still think about this man from time to time but I no longer spiral into a depression about it. I now have a married life of my own. I just wished I hadn't wasted those 5 years. Especially your early 20s. You never get those prime years back again. Just fill your life with other activities that bring you happiness to the best of your ability and don't look back. There's no sense reminding him or yourself of what can never happen.

Blood Part 05 - Quack science and blood
by JanH inquack science and the risks of blood transfusions.
the watchtower society has not been content with giving "biblical" reasons for prohibiting blood transfusions.
articles and publications dealing with this question are just as concerned with emphasizing the dangers of blood transfusions and the advantages of some alternatives to blood transfusions.

When's part 06 - I'm at the edge of my seat now! It's funny - when my non-witness Uncle was in a serious car accident and received blood transfusions, by JW mom insisted his personality changed, though, mysteriously, no one else could see it. My uncle was also 17 years old at the time so, of course he was changing!

Sals,
I am bisexual and married now as well and, though, I am monogomous, I can give you some advice. Your husband may be alright with it but you must be careful, as if it becomes more than a fling he may get quite jealous. Plus he may be interested in the whole "threesome" thing which is something I have never endorsed. Fortunately, I'm married to a very unique and cool guy. You can email me if you want any further advice.

5 Year Old Cousin Says Who Will Live & Die
by Scarlet inmy husband and i took my 5 year old cousin to see lilo and stitch the other day.
(her mother has been a regular pioneer for 18 years) mind you this child cannot read or even count to 100. she out of the blue says to me "do you know if you do not go to meetings you will die at armagedon?
" she goes on to say that if she salutes the flag or eats birtday cake she will die and she knows her friend at school will die because she slautes the flag.

It's disgusting how children are manipulated that way. It's pure bigotry.

I've had some admit to me that they stay for the "good moral guidance". (I guess child abuse is ok) However, if you need to be in a cult in order to keep yourself from sleeping around, etc., then you have a seriously weak mind.
