  Hundreds Attend JW Funeral

  the bradley children were buried in a jw service in jackson, mississippi with hundreds of friends, family and schoolmates in attendance.

  story entitled "funeral held for bradley children.

  5 killed in car accident with drunken driver.".

  Truly sad such an event. I have two sons ages 10 and 7. I think I would die if that happened to me.

  Does the Watchtower read postings?

  i am sure that this has been dicussed before, but i am somewhat new to the site.

  i know that the society keeps copies of books written by former witnesses, but do they moniter sites such as this one?

  if so, how closely?

  I most definitely beleive so. They will assign people to visit sites such as these to check out for copyright infringement (publication covers and pictures) and just to keep tabs on the apostates. Sort of like a reconaissance mission to check out your enemy. I remember they also cracked down on those two fellows in Europe who posted the secret Elders book on the Internet "Pay attention to yourselves and All the flock" which they claimed was robbed from a JW's house. They also made their best attempts at df'ing anyone they could catch who was remotely associated with the AJWRB. And you have to wonder what must be going on in those poor fellows minds. They read this stuff and on one hand they know there is a spark of truth at what is being posted, and at the other hand will shove it to the back of their minds and bury it. Its a classic case of denial.

  i'm new at this whole computer-e-mail stuff; so i guess i should explain myself a bit.

  fist, english is not my 1st language, i was born into the truth- you could say i'm 2nd generation jehovah's witness, & i have been disfellowshipped twice & was out for 6 years.

  i think from my last letter you can tell that i have a true zeal for the truth.

  Curyous, I also thought this was the "truth". My way to surviving Armageddon, God's approved channel of communication between himself and mankind. But I suggest you do more research, and don't do that research using Watchtower Society publications. Ask hard questions and dig deep. Visit other websites such as Freeminds, Shaun's Research and Beacon For Former Jehovah's Witnesses. Read the books by former Governing Body member Ray Franz, (the nephew of Fred Franz )"Crisis of Conscience" and "In Search of Christian Freedom". There is a reason why the Watchtower Society fiercely prohibits its members from reading information by so-called 'apostates'. Ever wonder why the Society does so? Find out by doing research and asking questions. If it's the "truth" than it can absolutely stand up against any form of argumentation. But from where I'm standing, nor you nor 6 million other people on this planet can way that you have the "truth". I know, I did my own research not using Watchtower publications.

  My Mom Won't Shun Me!

  i feel a little guilty about this, because i know that so many of you have lost contact with your families, but i thought you might find it interesting that my mother has told me, via my father, that she won't shun me even if i'm df (which is a very real possibility).

  i'm not coming out unscathed (does anybody?

  ) since my marriage is set to end in the next couple of weeks, but i'm so grateful that i'll still have my mom.

  Good for you Voltaire. I would like to just walk away from this cult with my wife and three kids. But its not easy if you want to keep your family intact. My kids would be thrilled, its the wife which would need a little more convincing. The only thing holding us back is our family (parents, siblings, cousins) who are almost all Dubs since they wouldn't be allowed to say a greeting to us in the street, much less enjoy an evening together. I guess the best thing would be just to faaaaade away slowly!

  my husband has a new co-worker that has struck up conversation with him regarding jws.. she is a jw and knows he's a christian and is trying to talk with him.

  no problem right?

  my husband and i have been ministering to jws for 7 years now and this shouldn't be a problem-- .

  the dates are when they were born.

  karl klein,and lyman swingle both died this year.im not sure about john barr or carey barber,as to whether they died also.i hope this helps.

  Wow! Most of these guys are in their 80s and 90s! And isn't it strange that 4 guys on the GB were born around or after 1935 which is supposedly the cut-off date for the heavenly hope?

  i will address these issues that he has.. you know bleep, im sure someone would ask you about 'hellfire' if you knew what you were talking about, but since you dont, i doubt anyone will ask.

  since i know that your answer will be wrong, why should i ask the question?
