  Satan controlling 'the world'

  jehovah's witnesses frequently blame the evil in this world on satan and his demons.

  god could destroy the devil today if he wanted to but there are reasons why that doesnt happen which i accept.

  but if god did destroy the satan the devil today would pedophiles, rapists, murderers, terrorists and natural disasters, etc... cease to exist over night because satan does not exist.

  I personally don't believe in the "Boogie Man".

  What kind of screwed up logic has a "God of Love" leaving his human creation susceptible to a powerful, unseen, evil creature to be influenced, manipulated and deceived. If true God plans to kill humans for falling prey to the wolf he unleashed on his children.

  It's the same senslessness found in all of humanities ancient religious superstitions.

  How many actually watched or owned adult material when they were Witnesses?

  i was at a book study when i was in my teens and went to use the bathroom, and the family who owned the home said to use the one in their bedroom, as someone was already in the other one.

  so i did and as i was in there i noticed a magazine on the counter that was only partly covered.

  i could not help myself, and looked to see what it was and it was a penthouse.

  When I was at Bethel I had a Job that caused me to work on Sundays. One day I went back to my room and flipped through the TV channels. We got 9 channels from Satellite that Bethel arranged for. On channel 1 I noticed through all the fuzz that there was actually a porno flick airing! I'd bet money that some audio/video geek was watching this on the Bethel Satellite feed, not knowing that it was spilling over onto channel 1.

  Just my theory.

  i have had a quick look and found no references to this, so - here goes..as in the mag we picked up on sunday.. worldwide % increase over 2004 = 1.3%.

  memorial partakers 8524 (compared to 8570 in 2004).

  most european and nth american lands show pretty static figs - britain 1% increase, canada 0%, germany 0%, france 1%, usa 0%... but spare a thought for the inhabitants of zambia where 1 person in 90 is a reporting witness, must be hell going down to the local market!

  Regarding the favorable articles about JW's doing charitable work. Perhaps you can provide links to these articles. The only one's I've seen were JW's helping pimarily other JW's.

  They've taught you all the while to fear, fear, fear, if you ver leave them. You've formed a dependancy on JW's. Like all dependancies there is a withdrawel period. Just relax and remember. They haven't been right about anything in the past 125 years!

  we did the fade thing, thus we are neither das nor df.

  before we stopped, i served as an elder.
