No doubt about it: Jehovah's Witnesses have freedom of conscience once in a while.

Some christian consciences have allowed
by IP_SEC inatrolling we will go atrolling we will go.. another subject of this post could be: the devaluation of christian conscience in jehovah's witnesses.. you ever notice that the wt will sometimes print things that some christians can do with a clean conscience.
things that in the past were a big no no but now are ok?
since there are a lot of things i could do with a clean conscience: birthdays; smoke; oral sex; bla bla bla, could i use this reasoning as a defense?

Kingdom Hall Annex Fire
by Kenneson inthe killeen, texas kingdom hall was vandalized last month and an annex building set on fire last week.
someone apparently doesn't like jehovah's witnesses.
but they are expressing their anger in the wrong way and sooner or later it will get them in deep trouble.

1919 Cleansing
by IP_SEC inok, according to the rigcah, patdp, and ipalfam i and ii the jewish restoration prophecy fulfilled in 537 bc has an antitype in 1919 ad when the wt officers were released from prison.
this is obviously a central teaching of the slave.
they say they were exonerated of all the charges that caused them to go to prison, and because of their faith they were accepted as the slave at that time.

Oh yeah!!! In 1919 there was a cleansing in the penintentiary when they were released.

National ID Cards
by RescueMe inthe u.s. house of representatives approved on thursday a sweeping set of rules aimed at forcing states to issue all adults federally approved electronic id cards, including driver's licenses.
under the rules, federal employees would reject licenses or identity cards that don't comply, which could curb americans' access to airplanes, trains, national parks, federal courthouses and other areas controlled by the federal government.
the bill was approved by a 261-161 vote.

"The measure, called the Real ID Act, says that driver's licenses and other ID cards must include a digital photograph, anticounterfeiting features and undefined "machine-readable technology, with defined minimum data elements" that could include a magnetic strip or RFID tag."
Nothing new here! A lot of states do this already!
"States would be required to demand proof of the person's Social Security number and confirm that number with the Social Security Administration. They would also have to scan in documents showing the person's date of birth and immigration status"
States has been doing that for a long time now.
The only thing that seems to be new is that States would have to share their database now (?)
I don't see exactly what else is new in this Act.

What is the GB tellin us?
by IP_SEC ini?ve been reading some posts about the future of the whole governing body and fds doctrines and have come to notice something.. it seems like recently the literature has been focusing more on personal bible reading and understanding.
oh they still spew crap about how great the publications of the fds are, but i notice a little bit of a trend away from that.
for example: the bible reading highlights on the school.

I guess thats why they print this crap in the same book.

cl chap. 22 p. 228 Is "the Wisdom From Above" at Work in Your Life? *** 22 How can we safeguard practical wisdom? Not only must we regularly read the Bible and the Bible-based publications provided by "the faithful and discreet slave" but we must also endeavor to apply what we learn.Absolutely! So, you don't even have to wait for the next day...
This is what I think, having looked at how the organization was 6 or 7 decades ago: the WT is very good at adapting and surviving; there has been a constant trend, over the decades, for changes and people sometimes don't even notice them.
But major changes to really shake things up, I don't know... I'm skeptical about that.

IP_SEC,
I think what you read is nothing new!
One day they say "love";
the next, "hate";
the following, "love";
the next, "hate all those apostates...";
the following, "are we really loving our neighbours?".
So, what are the JWs to make of that?

"More people die by accepting blood thatn by refucing it,that is a fact."
Pericusmeus, you're right!
What you stated is basic statistics, though.
Of course more people die by accepting blood, since the vast majority do accept it. If it was the other way around, you could invert your sentence and it would be true as well.
