I went into a JW chat long ago. I think it was Obeds old forum. The only words I typed were "who is the king of the north?'. I was booted and got an IM saying I was booted for being an apostate.

fox news is putting out a report that the senate intelligence committee has a sixteen page memo detailing the links between iraq and al qaeda going back before the first gulf war.
this includes monies...weapons...and training going to aq, atta meeting twice with iraqi intelligence (1994 and 2000), and a possible visit by ubl himself to baghdad a few years back.
it'll be interesting to see how this pans out...even more interesting to hear what the oppossers have to say if this all proves true...you know...the ones who keep saying there's no link between iraq and a q.

sorry if this is a sad question, but i know of 3 jw's that have suicided.
i haven't known any personally, but i was wondered if you know any or know of any jw's that have suiced?
and do you know the reason why?
I know PERSONALY two cases: one, the brother got reinstated after many years out, married a JW sister and, after a couple of years, she cheated on him. He killed himself when found out.
The other case, the brother was having problems with alcohol for years, had a wife and 2 children, was causing a lot of problems to his family. Then, years after him having nothing to do with the religion any longer, the elders decided that he was mudding "Jehovah's organization" and the solution was to dfed him. A couple of months later he took his life. When his body was found, it was black, badly decomposed.
Someone one day could put up a database of concrete cases like these. It's creepy, I know, but it's the only way to show the world how damaging is this ridiculous practice of shunning.

I am with those who think that there is a clear hint of date here. Now, it must be pointed out that, as dmouse said later - and minimus refuse to accept - they seem to imply that 120 years after 1914 is the deadline, which means the end may come at any moment from now until '34.
It's so sad, so sad! (shaking head in disbelief they're doing that again).

what I found interesting too is this: even when this product is approved, this will only cause more drain in JW's already dry pockets. Look at the numbers:
