  What is the ideal age?

  it's funny, my brother-in-law, a very myopic and strict jw, said something to me once that i still feel has a kernel of truth to it even though it came from a braindead idiot.

  Do you eat out alot?

  i eat out a fair bit.

  i used to eat out alot more - two or three times a day, but i've cut back to about three times a week.

  restaurant food is starting to get to me.

  Well I am the gourmet cook who opens cans and boxes!!!!!

  I think the last time I cook on my stove was last spring sometime. The GrandMother that lives with me does'nt cook, do dishes or clean house. (joke)

  I am a deli kinda person. Eat out a few times a week.

  So thats the song of me being lazy.

  my boyfriend (feels more like fiance though i guess as we've talked about but just need the ring) and i have been together over two yrs and living together for over a yr. he never was a jw, and professes to be no religon and isn't even sure god exsists.

  got this "experience" in an email.

  it was sent by a sister i used to know quite well, i think she sent it to encourage me, but it has had the opposite effect.. "____________________.

  the things that went on behind closed doors in kindumb halls appalls me.

  i just can't even put into words the things that i have found out over the years... how horribly elders treated people, how everything was kept secret... .

  it disgusts me.

  Did You Feel Pressured To Auxiliary or Regular Pioneer?

  a few times a year, the society really promotes pioneering.they will devote service meeting talks and parts stressing the need to regular or auxiliary pioneer.

  at the assemblies and at the district convention, they will try to shame you into pioneering.

  they give examples of 85 year old parapalegics that "made room in their lives" to pioneer.

  When is it time to put down a pet?

  i'm rather sad today.

  i've been putting off taking my old dog (14 years old) to the vet because i knew the news wasn't going to be good.

  it was even worse than i thought though.

  That is a difficult decision to make. I trust you will make the right decision.

  In the last 8 yrs I had to opportunity to say good bye to 2 dogs. That I dog and house sit for. I spend alot of time with them. Their owners had to put them down for health reason's.

  On the last dog Lottie I bought her a vanilla Dairy Queen and spend some quality time with her. Grateful for the opportunity.
  

  I did feel the void each time sat for them. They are down to one dog now.

  It is a loss cause they give so much of themselves.Learn alot about loyalty.

  Its okay to be sad.

  My thoughts are with you.
