not since reading the laws of leviticus have i had so many wtfs as found in the list http://hourglass2.com/historical/the-list/list7_01.htm .

the number of white men on the governing body has often come up for discussion.

the negro member has been called the 'token black.

' no reflection on his race, but it just seems odd that with the great number of witnesses around the world, in such a variety of countries, that every member, but one, is white.. in your opinion, [with 8 as the target number].

The Jehovinator™ loves to create as much suffering as possible.

Why not simply have people go to sleep peacefully and never wake up when you can drown them slowly instead?

Why limit punishment to just the guilty people when you can make everything suffer- adults, infants, plants, animals- the entire ecosystem.

All such changes that I've known of were for judicial reasons.

You'd think Holy Spirit would've seen that coming ahead of time and told the GB to choose someone else.

while researching something else, i came across these two comments from a wt on how we should view the blood issue, when it comes to our pets.. *** w64 2/15 p. 127 questions from readers ***.

"would it be a violation of the scriptures for a christian to permit a veterinarian to give blood transfusions to a pet?

by all means, to do so would be a violation of the scriptures.".

bethel writer see's a fatty bethelite take the last bread roll at lunch...should he vent his feelings thru jehovahs holy watchtower magazine...why not!!.

watchtower 1974p.167 "...by over indulging in food....he fails to show love for jehovah god...is food a big thing in his life?

It ended up that god didn't really care for the people first pictured, so he had them replaced by someone he liked better (probably because they got more service hours than the first losers).

WT has also taken the same idiotic stance on what kinds of pets a JW owns. If you have piranhas, for example, which feed on live fish, the JW becomes 'bloodguilty' for having piranhas, because they feed them live fish.

If the whole process offends Jehovah™ so much, why did he make it that way?

Being a Witness results in selfish and self centered people!

i have noticed that many witnesses are very self centered and selfish people as a result of "leaving everything in god's hands to correct".

what i mean is, because "the kingdom will fix poverty, the homeless, poor, underpriveleged, etc...." it means they can just pass by those in need, or fulfill their natural human desire to help (if they have it) by just giving literature!.

so, just preach to those in need, and then you can feel good and smug about yourself!.

So in the parable of the "Good Samaritan", why didn't Jesus describe the Samaritan as just walking past the Jew without helping him and "leave it in god's hands"?

I wonder if the rNWT says that the Samaritan simply handed the Jew a magazine and kept walking?
