I'd like to point out that wheat is good, but weed is way better! I thank god incessantly for all the wonderful variety of herbs we have at our disposal!

The Weed AMONG the wheat ..NOT.."the weed overgrowed the wheat" Misunderstood parabel about anointed and about Gods patience
by TheWonderofYou inreferring to tim3l0rd who posted 12 days ago following message (see below) and the postings in which the "scattered" non organised anointed from 100 ce - 1900 ce are discussed, and the parabel of the weed among the wheat, i found out that it is not necessary at all that a "slave class" of anointed does itself distincts frome the weed , founds a new separated church, declares itself clean and holy, and begins a denunciating and destructive unnecessary harvesting.
the slave class of anointed should have better remained in the church and waited for jesus judgement.basis: .

My Issue: How To Step Down As A MS Without Getting Noticed

This religion is a slow death dealing cancer. It provides false hope, conditional love and loads of fear, obligation and guilt. It causes severe depression and suicides, breaks up families and teaches you to be a judgmental, elitist ignoramus.
I literally do see dead bodies everywhere as I can't get their teachings out of my head sometimes. The sooner you stand up to the bull sh#t, the sooner you can clear your conscience, and live the remainder of your life on your own terms as an independent moral agent contributing to society.
What worked for me was moving to a new cong and rejecting the appointment privately. Get busy making new friends outside of this org so as to smooth the transition from cult friends to genuine human being friends.

Are Jehovah's Witnesses Christian or Cult, Do JWs Offer Solutions for Local and Global Problems of life?
by skepticSam inthe awake on "hope for the homelessness" was one of the worse illustrations how the cult has no love for anyone that can't provide donations to further this spiritual ponzi scheme!
the premise of this awake made no sense, i've read many books and took classes on social issues affecting mankind, the awake does not help fix the problem.
what did this magazine offer those who are suffering the humiliation of living out of their cars or "tent city" or under a bridge?

If you live each day like it's the last day of your life in this world, then you are bound to put a lot of important things off. You eat junk food because you don't care about the long-term effects. You unplug from reality because it no longer holds any concrete significance for you.You ignore the current problems such as homelessness, pollution etc.
JWs as a whole, have lived this way for over 130 years! The garbage has built up, the rust is showing and there are leaks everywhere in the JWmobile. The host (this world) is starting to reject the parasite (JWs) after many many years of blood sucking.

Small details...
by Garrett ina witness friend wanted to meet up recently and talk.
since this person was a close friend and who i thought had a level head, i'd go ahead and speak with him.
our conversation actually helped me figure a few things out not only for myself but also about the witnesses.. so we're talking and i'm telling him my experience and the doctrines that i disagreed with as well as the scandals that made me disgusted with the organization.

You hit the nail right on the head. If you try and wake them up then they will throw the hammer right back at you. No amount of logic, reason, scripture will wake them up if they are satisfied with their situation. No matter how many things I have shared with my still in friend, no matter how much he himself complains, he still in the end says all these things are "cause for concern but not cause for alarm."
GB gestapo fanatical foot soldiers is what they are! Hail the glorious GB of God!

Frank, I've been reading your posts for a while. I don't believe in Christianity anymore, but if there was such a thing as a genuine Christian, I think you would be one of them. -

My field service group leader wants to meet me
by Powermetal4ever inhe kind of invited me to a barbecue or something, and asked if my parents wanted to come along as well.
it felt really awkard, i mean i am 20++.
i was sceptic, so he told me he would send me a sms about an other fitting day instead.i probably didnt look too happy about that either, so he told me that maybe he could invite some other in the group.

The minute they break you down into an explanation they own you, because then they can judge if your explanation is worthy. Don't give them that power.
These words by LisaRose are so true. I wish I had learned that before I did what I did. It would have saved me a lot of frustration, pain and bitterness. You are so wise to their ways Lisa.

Unless you are interested in an informal dose of guilt, fear and obligation, then I wouldn't go. -

Guns. Well said Mr President, if only your countrymen had the same courage to consider changing course.
by nicolaou inive had to make statements like this too many times.
communities like this have had to endure tragedies like this too many times.
once again, communities [were harmed] because someone who wanted to inflict harm had no problem getting their hands on a gun.. lets be clear: at some point, we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries.

Walk around outside most of the day(s). Sleep in the car while pretending to listen to the program on the radio.
Here's a better idea: just don't go.

Preach, preach, preach....feel guilty...preach some more
by Tornintwo insince starting to wake up, i can't help notice how so many talks emphasise preaching, increasing your hours, pioneering etc...with a hefty load of guilt on the side.. i always noticed the guilt, but now i'm noticing how talks that seem to start out on another issue always seem to come back to hours!
visit talk seemed to start out about persecution, trusting in jehovah etc...but the main thrust in the end was, 'do more hours, pioneer, don't get an education or pursue a career, don't get distracted, hooray for the pioneers!
if you dont do more hours you will be 'the sort that shrink back to destruction'.
