  what can I say?

  i have been lurking around here for a little while and have read just about all the folders in mostly the "friends" category and seems like if i were to tell my story it would be ...yawn....boring.

  i have read and almost cried (okay, so, i did really cry)during and after reading some of the stories of the your lives as jw's...i have laughed at most of the stories about stuff that goes on in the kh's (been there....and could relate or at least imagine).

  then i think about my own pathetic entrance, exit, entrance, exit from the organization and it (mine) seems so hum-drum.

  i was brought up as a jo ho, as my friends called me and its amazing so many people have exactly the same experiences.. quite comforting.

  i'm new to the board.

  i did post a topic on my ex husband the difficulties i have with him and sharing my children.

  thanks for all the great advice and i have put a lot of it into place.. i just feel the need to let you all know who i am and how i got here.i have never really discussed this before (except with my new husband) i just found that most people didn't understand and weren't interested.

  i just got off the phone with carla.

  carla and paula's mother has just passed away.

  carla said that paula had been checking her post on and off all through the night and that it gave her much comfort in knowing that so many replied and showed that they cared.

  i have never been on a forum before.

  i was very happy to find this one while i was doing my research finding out the truth about the religion & just trying to heal from such a damaging religion.

  i was raised in it from birth by a devout witness mother.
