  It's a boy!!

  my wife gave birth to a baby boy this afternoon!

  he doesn't have a name yet so any suggestions?

  for all those that care (seems only women do) he is 10 points even and over 22" long.

  HELP! Trying to convince my parents I am going to meetings!

  a few weeks ago i posted about about how my parents have been asking about wether or not my card has been sent to my "new congregation" since i moved out in july.

  up until now, i have been stalling not knowing wether or not i wanted to just come out and say "i have not been going to meetings" or not take any action at all.

  well someone left an interesting piece of advice on my thread that i have been contemplating doing.that maybe, perhaps i should just have my card sent to a congregation that isn't anywhere near the actual city i live in.

  That was priceless. I lmao when you read part of your DA letter. I see they are gunning for your mom and brother. What creeps they are asking you if they still wanted to be witnesses. I wish more people would record their JC.

  anyone ever had a pet custody battle in a divorce

  i feel somewhat ridiculous.

  i know that a dog is not the same as a child but even my soon to be ex has conceeded on alot of points in the divorce papers, we cannot agree on who gets custody of the dog.

  i've always had dogs when i was growing up, but i really love this dog that we have.

  When I first got into family law I was surprised that people would fight so hard for their pets. There are people that really do love their pets like their own children. The most recent one I dealt with is this man who did not want his wifes pets but was using them as a bargaining tool to get out of paying spousal support. They had 2 dogs and 2 cats. Legally he was entitled to 1 cat and 1 dog. She gave up spousal support so she could keep the pets which was not in her best interest long term. I think she really screwed up her future financially, but to her it is worth it.

  i am very sad that i am in this situation.

  it is pretty much my own fault that i have this situation...but i didn't know at the time what all the consequenses would entail.

  (i got real ddepressed and left my jw husband and da'd myself after i had a baby with him) my daughter is a happy well adjusted kid with a new jw mom and an elder dad.

  Can you get her for an extended period of time during the summer? My dad got us for practically the whole summer and all the major holidays (all court ordered). It was heaven not having to go in fs or the kh. There was not a damn thing my jw mom could do about it either. We got a taste of what a normal life could be like.

  I went to the mail and got 2 X-mas cards and my secret santa gift from the board. What a wonderful surprise. I got the cards from blackswan and troubled mind and my ss was purza. Thanks all!!

  It does not offend me personally because I don't care if I have a relationship with Jesus. Now a friend of my dads DA'd himself after he became a born again Christian. After he left I remember him talking about how he refused to go the memorial with his wife. He started calling the memorial the witnesses annual rejection of Jesus Christ.

  if there ever was a throw away bible, it is the new world translation bible.

  i got to thinking this morning about how many i once had when i was a jw.

  here is the list as best as i can remember.... 1 old green hardback nwt with the dinosaur on the inside cover.
