Wasted Time

the society has used "theocratic stratergy" for years and lied about anything that is in their best interests.
why take any stock in what they say about anything.

If You were God?

i think i would have forgiven adam and eve and the last six thousand years would have been a cakewalk.. i wouldn't have had to send down my son to be nailed to a tree and die a horrible death.
i also would have been much more clear in what i expext of my creation, maybe write a book that could be understood by anyone..maybe i would have sent some of my angels down to the babylonians when they were throwing babies in the fire as sacrifices to say don't do that!!

Lets go back 6000 years now. Who sinned first? Adam and Eve? The first sin to me, came from the spiritual world. Didn't Satan tempt Eve, when he took the form of a snake. To me the first sinner, which is Satan, should have immediately been taken care of, right there. Waiting over 6000 years, and making innocent victims, is why people don't believe in God's justice and love.

1914 and 1935 running out of time?

)rutherford,knorr,fred w.franz and now henschel.most wt.publications over 10 yrs.old are outdated and are no longer used.the beliefs that "prove"they are the only true religion are different from their beliefs of fifty yrs.ago.however,the truth will not and cannot change.do you think we can expect the dates 1914 and 1935 to change because of running out of time?i realize that in spite of the changes,they expect members to be in complete agreement with their teachings and to be in complete obedience to the organization.blueblades.

Many religions are running out of time. The catholic church here in Quebec is dieing rapidly. Many churches are closing, and only old people still go. In 10 years or so, the only ones going will be too old. That will be an end of that religion as we know it, at least here. As far as the J.W., they will change whatever they need to stay alive. No one expected to see the year 2000 and still be in the "old system". But it happened, and they will have to many more changes in the futur. Since the witnesses are not supposed to read other literature, they are obliged, to accept everything as coming from God's channel of communication. New light should not go against old light, it should only add to it. But try to tell them that, you will be Disfellowshiped for doubting.

Russia: Nuclear Material Missing
by Reborn2002 inconsidering the turn of events in the world recently with the newly imposed un sanctions on iraq and the bush administration threatening to forcibly remove saddam hussein from power in iraq... i found the following article on yahoo to be interesting.
it should be noted that russia and iraq are on reasonably friendly terms.
it was russia whom on several occasions requested that the un use different language in expressing their agenda... oftentimes in defense of iraq.

Alexander Lebed, a Russian general who died a few months ago in a hellicopter crash, told a reporter that over 100 suitcase bombs were missing in the former soviet union's arsenal. That could be in the hands of any terrorist. These suitcase bombs have a power of 1 kiloton of TNT.

rumour has it that this years world wide report will show a slight increase in the countries where there has been, over the past few years, either a zero or a negative rate of increase.
my guess would be usa, australia and uk will show a 1% increase.. this can be almost entirely attributed to the new 15 minutes a month rule and the fact that the group study overseer (new pretentious title - no longer a humble book study conductor) is responsible for rounding up all the reports for his group.. however, the big problem will be the numbers getting baptized.

Talking in public
by JH inwas it natural for you to speak in public, either from door to door, or making talks at the hall.
for some, it was a real scarry thing to speak in front of a group.
was that a big load off your back when you quit going to the meetings?

once i bought a 2 door car, and everyone was looking at me as if i commited a crime.
i then reasoned with them saying, "didn't jesus send his deciples by groups of 2?".
