Well thats what most youngsters here in Quebec eat, just about once a week. It's french fries, with little pieces of cheese and sauce on top. I think in the states, you call that cheese fries? Does this exist in England, or in Australia, or is it unique to Quebec? Yummy Yummy Yummy

  If you don' believe in the bible, maybe he existed

  If you don't believe in Jesus, you don't believe in the bible, so maybe he existed anyways.

  Why must JW's buy their way into God's Kingdom??

  this has been eating at me for a while.

  why do jw's have to go door to door?

  if christ's life was a ransom sacrifice for us, than why must we "buy" our way into the new kingdom (paradise, etc)???

  They want to control you, take all your time. By going door to door, you identify yourself as a J.W. It is easy going to the hall where no one see you, but when you go door to door, then the whole city sees you. They want to see to what extent you want to be a part of thier org. Every religion stresses a certain point, and the witnesses go door to door. Thats what they are known for. It's their trademark. They want new recruits for more money and more control. Thats the best way to get people (door to door). How many witnesses do like going door to door? Not many.

  A small victory

  okay, my mom is elderly (80 yrs.

  old) and not able to get to all the meetings like she used to (which is definitely a plus for me!

  btw shes living with me now, since last spring, cause shes not able to keep up with things anymore).

  i'm new to this forum group.

  i've joined it because i've found the demoniation (jw) very interesting at a variety of levels.

  i'd like to get my own questions answered soon, but first i have a project regarding a christian denomination that has to be done.

  who do you think will be the next "king of the north", that is needed to fill prophesy?

  just like a puzzle, all the pieces have to be put together, and one big piece is missing today.

  i think that germany was the king of the north during the second world war, and the soviet union was the king of the north afterwards up to 1990, until it fell apart.

  Too bad that this thread is posted, and not 30 minutes after it is moved from FRIENDS to BIBLE RESEARCH. How can people respond if it is not kept a while???
