Are fibers really fibres across the pond?
I used a meter stick teaching Science today, but could it really have been a metre stick?
I've been on this site so long that I don't know which spelling is which.
It's October. Maybe I'll just teach witch spelling...

I would be pissed, too, if some business parked up the neighborhood making it difficult to navigate the streets.
A $120 fine, especially if signs are posted saying, "No Parking'" seems about right to me.

Just curious - is apostasy grounds for divorce?

i know only adultery is supposed to be grounds for "scriptural" divorce.

i'm a wicked apostate in their eyes, but my believing husband and i still can't get a divorce that would allow him to remarry.

we currently are separated - i have left him.

I'm not sure I really understand why folks feel the need to make sure their ex can remarry. Can anybody explain this to me?

He's just viscerally disgusting. He makes my skin crawl just looking at him. I don't know how his wife can stand to be near him.

I just want to say that that photo on the beach is beautiful. The waves in the background, the slightly sea-sprayed couple, the implied motion, the interaction. It's just a gorgeous, gorgeous moment caught on camera.
I hope you have that one framed and sitting on the nightstand.

Yeah, keyser, low-level management is often not worth it.
Possibly middle-management could be worth it, but you usually have to first have experience as low-level management to qualify.

Ha ha! That's funny. Teachers hear the craziest things.
The parent of one of my students called the principal to complain her child was being bullied in my class. The principal got all of the relevant details and also asked to also speak to the student.
Principal: So, you've been bullied?
Student: Yes.
P: When did this happen?
S: Today
P: And, who bullied you?
S: Jason
Principal: Really?!
S: Oh, yes!
P: Well that's funny because Jason has been absent for the last 3 days!
