'Anointeds' Do you know any and if so what are they like ?
by Introvert 2 inwould like to hear about any experiences anyone has had with the so called ' anointed ' .

The Annointed in my Hall growing up was a real winner. Spoke with odd, deliberate mannerisms, & was apparently called up after his Uncle became an Apostate. He married a woman from NYC, had 5 kids. He perpetually worked crap jobs, and being that he was an Elder he had zero time for his family. His 3 daughters all left in their teens. His oldest child, a son, became a pedophile who was caught distributing hardcore child porn on the internet and is now serving 25 years in a state pen. This was after he beat a 2-yr old child nearly to death when he was 20 in 1995.
The wife left the anointed ElDuh, and he remarried some busy-body pioneer witch at his new congregation. Truly, a Prince among men and a complete idiot who ruined his entire family by slaving away for the cult 24/7/365. How happifying!

I really relate to what you said, Labellicker. All growing up in the JW's (1980's, 90's), I always felt like I didn't fit in with the JW's. So of course, you are constantly questioning yourself as to why you are never "good enough" to hang out with, be invited to things, or just generally fit in. I always fit in at school much better. School was actually a welcome escape! After a while, with maturity, and especially now looking back in hindsight, it all makes sense. There was absolutely NOTHING wrong with me, I was surrounded by cultist LOONS! They were all manipulative, egotistical, self-centered narcissists who thought everyone in the world was wrong, and THEY and they alone were right, and that YHWH God was going to vindicate them and they'd rule the world and pet pandas in the New Order, laughing over the dead bodies of the people who slammed the doors in their arrogant faces every Saturday morning.
I was surrounded by delusional, bible-thumping End Times cult nutcases, and I DID NOT fit in! I wasn't the problem, they were ! So many would stab each other in the backs and smile all the while. Ugh! So glad to be out of it I could do backflips down the middle of the street!!!

You are one of those unfortunate individuals (much like myself) who somehow manage to attract life's toxic assholes, like bees to honey. This man was a two-faced manipulator who was using you. You called him on his BS, and he bailed. Consider yourself lucky, in particular that you have removed this toxic a-hole from your life. Myself, and most others on here will tell you straight out that this so-called "Religion" is nothing more than a publishing and real estate corporation CULT, masquerading as a Neo-Judeo Christian religion.
It's a Cult!
Be glad to have one less loser in your life, and get on with yours and try to remove the rest of the losers until you can finally breathe again.
PS: Welcome! We have ALL been mentally mind-f*cked by this CULT in one way or the other, so we all at least have that in common.

2014 Pew Research on US Religion
by adjusted knowledge inthe pew survey i've been reading is quite lengthy, but filled with interesting information.
it really explains a lot of the social issues.
impact of little education, donation issues, the issues of women finding marriage partners.

"They don't even make up 1 full percent point of the entire Christen Community."
Well said! And what I am embarrassed to think back upon, is how I was raised and brought up to believe that this religion was so important, highly thought of, and "special." Ha! They are ants in the afterbirth of the1800's Adventist movement, which is just about done moving and DEAD. The outright arrogance (and ignorance) to walk around all day, every day, thinking that you are elite and special, because that's what's been drummed into your head since the day you were born. That everyone else is wrong, and somehow your denomination is right. That 99.2% of all other people on the planet are fleshy bird food, and YOU are going to be petting pandas in front of your Chalet in the New Order. All because that 99.2% has a differing of opinion or interpretation of the Bible, as opposed to what the Governing Body SAYS the bible means? The incredible gall!
And what's worse is that there are still people alive today that are buying into this elitist attitude. Truly, there are suckers born every minute, and Cults aim to keep them that way!

So let me get this straight, Mormons outnumber JW's by 2 to 1 ?
So much for growth being an indicator of God's approval of the "Organization." Hahahahahaha!
Poorest, dumbest, loneliest religion in all the land - pretty much sums up this pathetic excuse of a Cult masquerading as a religion. Ugh!

I'm 35. I don't think the above statement about most being above age 50 is true at all. I think younger users are on here and haven't posted, as they are lurking after looking into all things JW because of what they've heard or how they've been treated. -

Well, I asked a question and his answer blew me away
by Lost his mind infirst time, been lurking for years, but i asked my husband who has been studying for 20 plus years if he has ever questioned those that were "teaching" him.
blew my mind.
i ask him all the questions that you have asked yourself, but he will not ask them.

@rebelfighter: Your ex-BF JW Elder was a totally deceitful hypocrite. Here he is an Elder, and secretly dating a "Worldly" woman? He could have been disfellowshipped (excommunicated) by the other Elders just for that!!!
Trust me, that arrogant dufos did you a FAVOR!! I can't believe in 5 years time he didn't take you to meetings, introduce you around, etc. Just used you for sex and THEN questioned whether or not you'd make a good convert and submissive wife. Guess what? You didn't pass his little litmus test, so you were out on your azz!!!
You dodged a bullet, trust me! Welcome!

Why is the guy on here begging for money? Hasn't the Governing Body told him, "Jehovah provides?" I'm sure his local Congregation Elders would be happified to throw him some money to help him out. After all, they are his Shepherds, right?
