She obviously hasn't seen the video of Anthony Morris da Turd buying $1000 USD worth of Scotch on a Sunday morning 30 miles out of his way outside of WT HQ.

Not training speakers/teachers any more?
by eyeslice2 innot having attended any meetings since about 2001, for reasons of safety (sounds a bit dramatic but i don't like my wife being out on her own late at night where we live now), i have started accompanying her to the mid-week meeting.. when i was young, the ministry school and service meeting were central to training brothers to take the lead.
you were assigned instruction talks, then if you cut it, you moved pretty rapidly to public talks - a full 55 mins at the time.
i was just 18 years old when i gave my first public talk and this was a first step to moving rapidly through the ranks.

The "Family International" cult did exactly this: closed up all of their pedo-compounds that they have around the globe (except in countries that harbour this shit) and then put all of their instruction "Online." You go right to their site, or even YouTube, and you have their cults instructional and indoctrination videos.
Sick as it is, and with all of the information on "The Family" out their on the internet, there are STILL diehard followers of those nutcases. SMH.
This too, could be exactly how the WatchTower ends up. E-religion, internet based, with Conventions once a year as a money-maker.

Joe Biden and Push-up Contests
by minimus inin the past, the former vp has challenged trump to a push-up contest and today he did again , only this time to an 83 year old man who told biden that he thought he was too old to run for president.
it appears biden called him fat and unlike the man he wasn’t sedentary.
then he challenged the man to a push-up contest.

Electric Cordless Yard Tools - Does Anyone Else Use Them?
by RubaDub ini must say, i have had my battery mower, trimmer, blower for about a year now and could not be happier (ryobi 40 volt stuff).
the same battery works in everything.
just plug and play.. yes, they are more expensive to purchase, probably 30% to 50% more than gas.

@FadeToBlack
I just recently upgraded my workshop tools as well. For years, I only had corded power tools and (1) Black & Decker cheap-o drill. This year, I invested in a suite of Tools from RIDGID. They are fantastic!!!!! 18volt, brushless motors, nice carry bag, excellent ergonomics, and if you buy them at Home Depot and register the batteries, they'll warranty them for life!!!! Right now is the best time to buy the kits, because Black Friday and Xmas sales are starting up.
If you're into alot of tools like me, this is probably the best package right now:
However, if you only need a driver and drill, than this will do the job:
Get yourself a Milwaukee Bit Set and drill set, and you are good to go at home!
Here's the exact drill bit set I have:
And here's a good bit set:
Hope this helped!!!

@RubaDub:
FYI: You need to use ALL the batteries to keep them fresh and charging properly. Unpackage all of them, and then use a different one each week when you do yardwork. If you just leave that "extra" one in the packaging for a few years, it'll just die and won't charge at all.

I have the 40v yard tools from Husqvarna. They are heavy-duty, 40 volt, and well made. I have the weed trimmer, hedge trimmer, and leaf blower. My 10 year old Honda mower is still going strong, so no need to rid myself of that. It'll probably be going strong another 10 years, as Honda's are fantastic machines.
I wish I had invested in Husqvarna cordless tools years ago! They have saved me bundles of time. I had corded electric yard tools before, and it's such a pain in the ass! The Husqvarna tools are on another level, right up there with ECHO and STIHL.

by punkofnice inhttps://www.thesun.co.uk/news/10409135/birmingham-star-city-fight-evacuated-blue-story-gang/.
i don't normally bother with the gutter press, but this was interesting.. what they didn't show was that the faces of the kids, probably due to their age.. i saw the picture before it was pixelled out.
interesting that the kids with the machettes looked like members of the religion of peace.. just sayin'.. interesting to see what low life scum the film was about.. good grief, can't the jobos be right and armageddon(tm) come?.

I'm sure the Mayor of London has the thugs.......I mean......innocent young Moslemzzz backs!!!!!
This is what Europe has brought upon itself. In the colonies many of us still haven't forgotten the horrors of 9/11, but the dumbasses born after 9/11 are now of legal voting age of here, and political correctness has run amok!

I am a Watchtower survivor
by Sour Grapes ini really like calling myself a watchtower survivor.
it is not demeaning to other people and is not a negative statement.
when a jdub sees that term it may make them think about why i would call myself a survivor.

Hey, that's a really good descriptive term. I think I'm going to adopt that as well. Thanks!
