by LouBelle ini have been rather scarce i know, i've been so very busy with work that i don't really have much time to log on, and we had someone come into our home and steal our laptop, so haven't been able to log on at home either.. work is still going very well.
it's not easy cold selling, but i've had a good few ads come in and keep me ticking over.
every now and again i pop because i simply don't know what else management want me to do, i'm doing everything i can.

So I'm guessing the Boreans would be stoned to death for Apostacy if they came before today's current Governing Body and dared to question a single thing that the Governing Body said?? So much for the Apostle Paul's praise of the Boreans in Acts 17, or his sound advice found in 1 Thessalonians 5:21, where he stated to, "Prove all things, hold fast to which is good." So if you test something, and it proves to be "not good", I'm assuming Paul wouldn't have held fast to it? He'd kick Garrett Loesch's NFL ass for sure!!!
This is a whole new level of paranoia, but seems to fall directly in line with the buidling of the new Lakeshore "compound" in upstate NY. I predict the next crazy idea will be for members to sell their belongs, move to upstate NY, and build new homes and towns ala Jonestown, and live out the remaining Time of the End.
I thought the one really crazy comment was this:

Really? AGAIN? Says who? Even JESUS doesn't know "the day or the hour", but somehow these clowns are privy to YHWH's timeline? How close, immenent, SOON is it THIS time? Scary Books
by Jim_TX inthis past saturday, my wife and i went shopping in san marcos at the factory outlet mall.
we had a very pleasant day there, and afterwards went for a late lunch.. after lunch, we went to a local half-price books store where she went looking for novels by authors that she likes to read.
i went looking through the books too, for some book that might catch my eye.. in one section of books, way up high - in fact, it was on the very top shelf which was about seven or eight feet up, i spotted about 6 bound volumes of the wts watchtower & awake.

That's right bros and sisters, you don't need no stinkin' NEW CARS, or perfume, or fine clothing in the time of The End. But the Governing Body NEED your money and free labour - and FAST, because they NEED their BRAND NEW luxurious accommodations next to a lake in upstate New York. Brooklyn ain't good enough, they "movin' ooooon up".......to upstate New York!! They NEED a "Multi-Use Facility" with basketball courts, tennis courts, swimming pools, full-size gym, and many other luxery items that most JW's could only dream of (and are denied, becuase you lazy a-holes are to be out door-knocking instead of wasting your time in such worldly pursuits).
This guy is a bat-shit crazy fruit-loop with all his fake crying and shit. I can easily picture him in a tent-rival somewhere guilting money out of gulliable suckers and laying on hands. Incredible.

it was the national headquarters for the jehovah's witnesses for 30 years.. but the 7.5ha wattle downs property has now been sold to elim church and could soon house a new christian college.. jehovah's witness minister george gray says advances in technology mean the property is no longer needed for running the church's new zealand and south pacific activities which will now be administered from australia.. elim church bought the property for its growing south auckland congregation and volunteers helped transform the site in just a matter of days.. pastor boyd ratnaraja says the congregation moved in on a sunday straight after morning services at their much smaller weymouth rd premises.. "they have done a superb job of setting up," he says.. the church will hold services for its 450-strong congregation at its new home as well as running counselling sessions and operating an op shop and a weekly soup kitchen.. "we believe in reaching out to the community.

6 months ago I told my wife's sister (and her family) to ALL go F*ck themselves for their hateful treatment of us. They are ubber self-righteous posuers with delusions of granduer, and self-centered narcassists. Did I mention they are Lutherns, and not JW's? Doesn't matter......the treatment of our wives is the same, hateful and disrespectful, and our wives deserve better than to be treated like dirt.
Glad to meet another man who's got the galls to stand up for his wife and family. Kudos to you!!!

I just read the entire book in one sitting thru Amazon app. What a great story of how going to Bethel actually BREAKS your spiritual back and leaves you the path right out of the religion! You can't make this crap up, and this stuff sells itself because anyone who was ever a JW or close to Brooklyn knows the ring of "Truth" when they hear it. This reeks of TRUTH.
Some highlights for me were at the end when he was saying goodbye to the JW couple that were his friends. Their reaction is pure Cult gold!!! It's also typical of people who are only your friends based upon "conditions". I wonder where that JW couple is now? Still tolling away up there in the factory for nothing, no children, no home, just endless labour, OR maybe Headquarters showed them the door once they got older and now they are out in the very "System of Things" that they despised so much. Be warm and well fed, Brother and Sister Uncaring A-holes! I almost hope that's what happened to them, that they were kicked out on their asses after decades of "service" into a world they know nothing about except that they hate it.
Another highlight was speaking about the printing of the classic 1984 WatchTower & Awake! magazines with the Generation and 1914 covers. The 1984 bound volumes are the only ones I kept specifically because of these. Imagine, that was almost 30 years ago now!! I was 4 yrs old when they came out, and I still remember them......it's like they are burned into my psyche. We weren't even supposed to make it out of the 1980's, remember?
The crap you endured......the sheer institutional hell you lived......the spiritual "Love" just oozes from the pages of your memoir. This book should be passed around to any perspective young JW even remotely thinking of applying to Beth-hell. I read it in one straight shot, and am nearly sick thinking about actually living like that. I'm glad you got out alive and with your sanity, unlike Mr. Coffee.
