then it goes right into the jws, and he reads the quote from millions now living will never die about how we can 'confidently expect' the resurrection in 1925, and then the life everlasting book that predicted 1975. of course, he doesn't say how it's still going on, namely with the overlapping generation and its' accompanying convoluted chart, but still, this is more than they've ever said on the subject, especially recently.. it almost sounds like a forced statement, to address any backlash from people reading 'apostate lies' online, because he also says how the gb 'humbly' admitted mistakes, referencing the non-apology after 1975 that disturbed raymond franz.

My BPD Sister Passed Away
by babygirl30 ini have started this, then restarted it, and it still sucks to even write this out - but my younger sister passed away unexpectedly last saturday (on my birthday).
i am going through all the grieving emotions, but there is more to the story that i could never and would never talk about to anyone that didn't understand the jw rhetoric.
so...here i am.. my sister has had borderline personality disorder (bpd) for as long as i can remember.

You need to re-read what you wrote about how this sack of human shit treated you. Yeah, I said that!! You may not believe it now, but in a short time, you will feel nothing but RELIEF that this toxic abuser is out of your life! No more stupid bullshit! No more stalking! Your ungrateful, cruel parents would be the last people I'd talk to.
10 years ago, you should have gone "No Contact" and been done with the whole lot of them. You sound like a much better person without them in your life.
Wish I could say I was sorry for your loss, but I'm not! I'm grateful you are now FREE, and someday soon you will be too. When that happens, don't feel guilty about it. It's 100% justified to feel relief. There's nothing wrong with YOU, but there is definitely something wrong with THEM!

i remember having lots of studies using the 'truth' book.

Not training speakers/teachers any more?
by eyeslice2 innot having attended any meetings since about 2001, for reasons of safety (sounds a bit dramatic but i don't like my wife being out on her own late at night where we live now), i have started accompanying her to the mid-week meeting.. when i was young, the ministry school and service meeting were central to training brothers to take the lead.
you were assigned instruction talks, then if you cut it, you moved pretty rapidly to public talks - a full 55 mins at the time.
i was just 18 years old when i gave my first public talk and this was a first step to moving rapidly through the ranks.

You go right to their site, or even YouTube, and you have their cults instructional and indoctrination videos.

Electric Cordless Yard Tools - Does Anyone Else Use Them?

the same battery works in everything.
just plug and play.. yes, they are more expensive to purchase, probably 30% to 50% more than gas.

I just recently upgraded my workshop tools as well. For years, I only had corded power tools and (1) Black & Decker cheap-o drill. This year, I invested in a suite of Tools from RIDGID. They are fantastic!!!!! 18volt, brushless motors, nice carry bag, excellent ergonomics, and if you buy them at Home Depot and register the batteries, they'll warranty them for life!!!! Right now is the best time to buy the kits, because Black Friday and Xmas sales are starting up.
