With all due respect, I see some expressions in your comment that could be interpreted as dishonest.
Isn't interesting that some people don't feel their lives were completely ruined by JWs.
"Some people" = Just two of the above persons claim that JWs didn't make their lives worse.
"Completely ruined" = That isn't the issue. The question is to what extent our lives have been screwed up.
Many honestly admit that ordinary parental neglect, alcoholism, etc. were more influential on their lives than a "high-control" religion.
Who are these "many"? It seems to me you have an insatiable desire to see white when the only thing in front of you is totally black.
Only a naive person would brush aside the fact that JWs, more than most religious persons, are noteworthy for family divisions, suicides, messed-up personalities, neglected education, lack of qualifications for making a comfortable living, etc., etc.
