I hope my house back at Gosford isn't under threat, we have it leased out while we are living out west in police accomodation. It is going to be a very long summer.

the urban areas around the south-west and close to bethel, as well as the area near wollongong to the south have been affected, which means the fires are breaking out deep in the metropolitan area.

placebo - You sound hurt and stressed right now, I hope you can find a way to make sense of what is/has happening to you. It has been sometime since I was in your position. Things didn't make sense for quite a while after. I even succeeded in getting reinstated because life with the W and my family was miserable and the fear of armageddon was so powerful. But events happened that caused me to doubt my faith and the teachings of the WT. When your whole value system is placed under that pressure life relly stops making sense for a time. I would suggest you spend time to really think about what is important to you, what your hopes are, goals are, dreams etc. What do you like about yourself, what do you want to change? REALLY THINK...not just in JW terms, try defining your OWN terms. Honesty and truth will help build your confidence, esteem and trust back up where once you thought it lost. Being a lady and all, I NEVER did that...but it sure would have been a riot if I had! On a side note, didn't you hate it when someone let a SBD (silent but deadly) one go and the whole hall would reek of rotten eggs. All the kids would be giggling and holding their noses...ahhh the small joys!

I "won" COC in ebay auction
by outbackaussie ini am pretty darn happy, i got the book for $13aud which is about $6.50 in usd, so i am looking forward to getting it and having a read.
i talked to my mum about it today and she is interested in having a look too.
(she is still in, but largely inactive) i know many here have read it, is it worth the look?

i was disappointed that i didn't feel any sort of warm glow.. when my dad was baptised, it was at epsom circuit assembly, london.

I thought I was pretty darn special, I wandered around the convention at lunch sporting my wet hair like some sort of "badge of honour", and felt important when people congratulated me and called me "sister". But once my hair dryed out and we went home after the convention, nothing had changed and I still felt an outcast in my congregation.
