I was thinking of getting a shirt made with a skeleton sitting at the park with a WT mag. in his hand that said the end is very near 1874 or 1925. And under the picture it saids " You should have follow Jesus"

I think U are looking at the Bible in the wrong sense, meaning from a human view point.... but GOD is all Knowing and Powerful.
"Your children shall wander in the wilderness for forty years
So GOD had to do something (Powerwise) for them to wander 40 years!
So bottomline just don't look at it from just a human view. Yes the are lots of human view points in the Bible but........There are LOT's of GODS view points as well. He did that so you know where everyone is coming from(View Point wise) an why they did/not do certain things/tasks for that matter. These are my throughts on this topic, thank U for reading with an open mind!

Jehovah's Witnesses role in WWII
by ApagaLaLuz inhere's a quick thought that i had while watching the hitler mini-series this week.
i remember learning that the jehovah's witnesses had sent an open letter to adolph hitler condemning his treatment of humans after taking rule.
they are very quick and vocal to let people know that they spoke up, and that was one of the reasons they too suffered at his hands.

You are both right on that part. What did JESUS do when he was arrested. He was silent for the most part but only spoke when needed. Rutherfur (Miss spelled....who caresLOL) anyway he send a letter to hitler and you want to know what it said...... That he should be killed or I would kill you, something to that effect. So he ADDED fuel to the fire and alot of people got hurt evening more so because of that letter. They should have followed the Bible an stayed neutral by not "PROVOKING" him in anyway. I guess we can go on & on about this topic, but I think we all sumed it up for the most part. Take care

Finally they came to my door!
by Beans inwell it was a thursday night and i see these two sisters walking up the street, my after thought was what the hell are they out on bookstudy night?
so then the doorbell rings, bingo my wish has come true after a year of reading i get to ask some door knockers some deep hearted questions!.
as they went into there spiel i had a major flashback, they were saying the exact same thing i recall my father saying 30 years ago "we are living in such a terrible world" and i said to them what, this is a great place to live, we are in a great country living a great life!

You brought out a great point. There was so many "CLIQUES" in my hall. I use to think it was just in our hall but.............After talking on line and to people on the phone I found it was at EVERY hall. I was like HOLY F@$K NOWAY thats what goes on at my hall. I thank the LORD for letting me see all that, I know now they are false. So one day I just left, an never looked back, no letter, no talking/telling so & so, No...I just stopped going an left, right out of thin air LOL. I feel Great and free in the LORD!!!!!!!!!!! All you need is to do research and get a Bible that the JW haven't messed with LOL. The Bible/JESUS is ALL U NEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well take care all!!!!!!!

Kenneson brought out a very great point, so I'm going with his view point on this matter. Just keep the faith an let the Bible speak for it's self and don't mix JW False teachings or any false teachings for that matter when reading. Write out a list of questions (or what ever) you have doubts about an then search through the Bible for the answers. This is not easy but who knows it might not be. It worked for me!
Also read the book "In search of Christian Freedom" by raymond F. Great book which really Helped me see things more clearly.

What did you do to keep yourself amused at the KH?
by be wise inwhen i was very young about 12 or 13 my brother [he's mad, not much older] sometimes used to do a cheeky magic trick during the watchtower[god, this was the most boring of them all, i think].
he used to put his hands by his side and miraculously the books on his lap would rise all by themselves [yeah, you guessed it ...morning glory], well it made me laugh my head off.
i bet people could see my shoulders bouncing up and down from the back row.

The Murderous God of the Old Testament.....

2 kings 2:23-24:.

Just because something gets written down in the Bible doesn't mean God was for it or approved it. As for the story with the bears. God must have read their hearts an saw there was no hope of them changing, beside some people look young but are much older. Who knows we were not there and it's hard to get the whole scope of things sometimes.
As for that woman that got cut up after being raped Judges 19:15 Student Bible throught on the matter "The old man obviously took hospitality seriously. Unfortunately, he took the rights of woman much less seriously. In fact, he urged the hostile mob to rape his own daughter and his guest's concubine as a substitute for the guest himself. His response was nearly identical to lot's on the eve of Sodom's destruction (Gen 19:6-8) The story suggest that Israel had become as bad as Sodom. We all know God punished Israel big time for all there badness, and took every bad act into account for perfect justice.
Now just because that crime was recorded doesn't mean God approved it. Remember the issue that is at hand, Can men live without Gods help?......NO. This is just one more case why we need God/Jesus to step in to end all this Evil !!!!!!!!!!! Its just like today, crime is everywhere, yet why does God let it go on, because to show man that without his help there is no peace, hope, future only pain & death etc. God will step in, and end all this madness once an for all and make it up to everyone for going through all this, but until then you have to act smart and hang on.
