been thinking about what blondie said about the use of jehovah in 1 thessalonians:4 and how they try to pass the word lord of as both jesus and jehovah ........so i looked some stuff up.... i cant think why i was so convinced that the disciples used gods name.

im willing to be convinced though.

According to scripture Deut. cha 18:22 they are under death!!!!!!!! Leave now while there is still time and know that the real Jesus is Almighty God in the Flesh...The God-Man. Banned From the Bible

i may be late in seeing this special on the history channel, but did anyone else see this show.

it was about books being banned from the bible that further explains events that may or may not have happened the way it is written in the bible.

this show peaked my curiousity and i went to the library and found the book who wrote the bible?

First you have to believe that Yahweh/God is in control and the 66 books (Bible) is from God. God saw fit to have 66 books to make up his word, now did other people write books... yes but it was by there own will not God's. If something in there books contradicts the 66 books/The Bible, You have to believe the 66 books(Bible) over theres, Because God doesn't lie and his word is truth. There are contradictions in the books of st. thomas, and the macabee's etc. Everything you need is from Gen.-Rev. (66 books).

Hello, Now that Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit(HS), he's in charge. That's the way it is I guess. As for the JW's there Toast, they are a bunch of liars an have pissed the HS off big time!!!!!!!

Number one Adam and Eve are not in Hebrews 11. Objectively this is a poem, and is "inaccurate" in many points. In heb 11:36 it clears it up the fact that they did not receive the Christ for their "faith", and are unsaved by your own definition! What many of you Christian do is come to JWs with all this born again stuff. Then you undo all your argument telling us a bunch of Jews are in heaven who never did any of this Jesus in your heart stuff.
I like your spin on the earthly part of the kingdom of heaven, but to keep it real the wts aint stupid, and covers its butt well on the born again angle.
Another thing isn't our religion broken? Christianity is a godforsaken construct. It made sense until Paul messed it up. Take note. Historically Paul was among the first Christian writers and may have helped "invent" Christianity. This means that potentially someone else could have came along later and made the gospel nicer than it originally was and inserted a better Jesus.

I know adam & eve are not mention directly in Hebrews, But in the book of acts it said Jesus did what the law was powerless to do, to forgive sinners like adam & eve & us etc. Beside Jesus bought back what adam lost so adam & eve can benefit too just like us. Plus God gave them a Hope with the coming promise seed before they got kicked out. Only adam & eve (Man) got a hope Not satan. Why do you think they had kids because they knew that seed (Jesus) would come and get them out of sin. Do you think that they would have any kids if they didn't have a hope??? think about it. You see by them having kids etc proves they were sorry and that they would now have to fully trust God for there Salvation. An by them dying(The Curse) was to prove that the devil is a liar. So you really have to put yourself in adam & eve's place to get the whole picture in away.

Read Herbrews Cha. 11:11-16... this is about ALL the Old testament saints including adam & eve. Notice vs 16 what that better county is (Heaven)!!!!!! also read Matt 8:11 (kingdom of Heaven) and the Old Saints are there.

John 3:3,16 you MUST be Born-Again or You won't see any part of that Kingdom even if it's just the earthy part you want!

How many can be Born-Again read 1John 5:1 (Everyone who believes in Jesus is Born from Above) and you can read the rest of the Cha.

Another JW Questions 1914 At The Meeting!!!

my mother told me that a regular pioneer in his 60's from a nearby hall questioned how we could be sure 1914 was the date christ was enthroned as king of the kingdom.

he questioned the brother conducting the meeting for field service.

it didn't go well......he left that hall and is reported missing in action!

ALL power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." (King James Bible) You can even start the reading at vs 16.

Now I say to my JW friend this is right after he was resurrected what other power did he need in 1914??? ALL is ALL, end of conversation, then they will know that Jesus is the Truth and not the WTBTS. Hope this tib bit helps, gets them Everytime!

One True God, revealed in Three persons.

The Father is that One True God, Jesus is called that One True God, The Holy Spirit is called that One True God. So In effect then The Three are the One True Eternal God of the Bible.

That's what the Bible said and thats how God wants to do it so, so be it, that's what I believe. The Late Dr. Walter Martin has some good stuff on the Trinity.

We are never going to understand God with are little human brains, But what God has shown us just take his word for it.
