The leaders claim thier special and will rule over the earth and the use Rev. 5:10 to clarify the point. Read your man this scripture, then get a interleanear book which is the Bible written in Greek the language the new testament was written in and show him the same scripture in the Greek word for word translation. It will say that they are only priests and will reign on the earth not over it. Then back up one verse to 9 and have him read who the people are that verse 10 is describing. Then turn over to chapter 7 and read verse 9 you will see its describing to tee the great crowd and not the 144k. So Rev 5: 9-10 is describing the great crowd on the earth reigning as priests only, not ruling as kings over the earth. This shows the WT twisted scripture to exalt the leadership as kings over everyone else. I know this is a little complicated but if you get the point across it takes away all thier authority and leaves them as just frauds. If he mentions something along the line of Jesus saying to his disciples they would be kings just remember in the gospels he only mentions 12 thrones and in the book of Revelationchapter 20 erthose that would judge all died as martyr, noJW leader was ever killed for standing up for Christ. -

What is the connection between Astrology, Jesus, the Apostles and the Cross
by I_love_Jeff inthe 12 apostles????.
jesus' astrology birth chart???.
maybe the jehovah's witnesses have something right about the cross and its connection with paganism???

The cross goes back to the Ank which is Egyptian but so does the concepts of a spirit, going to heaven, living in Paradise, called the field of reeds, having ones heart condition judged the goddess Maat puts her feather on one side of the scale. This is all in the book of the Dead. Jesus is the representation of the sun and was modeled from older sun dietys like Serapis, Helios, etc. -

Specific Comments By R&F About May Broadcast
by freemindfade ini know there are many posts discussing the may money requesting televangalism...er... broadcast i mean!
but i wanted to start one where anyone can put what they have heard any non-exjw, non-apostate witnesses say good or bad about the broadcast.
i don't see how it can't rattle followers... but then again i might be surprised how they can twist things (2+2=5).

They will do what the post above said, but remember a very important thing, do not I repeat do not under any circumstances get baptised. This will allow you to play like your still maybe interested your parents will still most likely associate with you and you can move on with your life. If you get baptised you become a slave to the religion and the elders. Then if you leave your parents and all other family members will be expected to shun you. Wonderful religion isn't it. -

the age of adam when he died, anyone know?
by brandnew inand if so, does this mean that adam had already invented a timetable, and calendar?
-
Crazyguy
What many people don't realize it the story of Adam was taken from a story about Adamu or Adapa, which also translates as man. In this story he could have attained external life but his father a god told him not to eat the food offered to him by the other gods because it was a trick. But he was mistaken and not a trick and if he would of eaten he would havegained idmmortality y -

Giant fruit in Canaan/TNS
by rebel8 inok bible scholars, do i have this right?.
jehoopla promised the israelites lots of great stuff in the promised land, but they didn't believe him so they sent spies to check it out.
they came back with fruit so large it had to be carried on a branch by 2 men.. from this, dubs believe they are going to have strawberries the size of king king's skull when they get to their own promised land (the new system).

Smiddy makes a huge point. I saw a documentary on the area of Israel and they were saying that southern Israel were Judah supposedly was is an arid high plateau. Very few people lived in that area during the time of the so called Davidic empire. In the north were the ten tribes supposedly live there is better land and people can and did farm but we're reliant on rain that could be sparse at times. So the real lands of milk and honey would of been the Nile or the areas between the Tigris and uphrates rivers, but God had his people leave these areas. Nice God loving God that he is. -

They're Making it Impossible to Fade
by DarioKehl infor those of you who have already faded due to family still being in, have you noticed how the noose is tightening?.
if it's not memorial, it's special day assembly.
if it's not that, it's convention or the special talk.

Most elders are to lazy to do all these things the borg wants them to do. Also many are fading and the elders just don't care. -

JWs are being told Watchtower is financially strapped because they forgave Kingdom Hall mortgages!
by PokerPlayerPhil inhere's why the governing body did that little line on jw broadcasting, i have a source still inside new york and being as sneaky as ever, the watchtower is claiming they need the cash because they forgave the kingdom hall mortgages!
not all the kingdom halls are hitting the targeted monthly donation-revenue range, they are still asking other kingdom halls to pony up cash for kingdom halls that can't afford the "recommended donation rate".
pure evil, that's the jehovah"s witness watchtower theocratic war in action!

Sounds to me that they have done this ploy before, so this tells me their not hurting just being greedy. More and more people are leaving religion and with the borg being over 100 years since the big 1914, maybe thier doing all this money grab stuff because they see the writing on the wall. 'less members in the future'.
