  More double speak, proverbs chapter 4 is all about how great wisdom is. Yet they are also correct, once I became educated I learned that the first God the Hebrews worshipped was a cannaanite God named El. They also stole stories like the Noah's flood story from older cultures involving many God's. They the Hebrews never worshiped one God in fact there's evidence they worshiped El, baal, Asherah, RA, Enki, Marduk and up in to the 5th century Ad Helios. Education has made me a non believer.

  i started posting on the ex community about five years ago since two of my children have remained under the jw spell.

  back then i had little tangible hope of seeing the downfall of the org.

  i now see evidence of big cracks forming in their hermetic carapace..

  Something big is going on at JW HQ, there has been to many changes and the money grab is aggressive. They may be on the brink but they have a ton of cash. At the same time thousands of churches close per year in the USA. Last week it came out that the city of Seattle as a population where 10% are atheists highest percentage of any city in the US. More and more people are becoming non religious even though they may believe in a god. The hand writing is on the wall, hopefully the Borg dies soon.

  i just had an invite to a district convention later this month in calgary (i guess they get to clean up the saddledome before the stampede, lol).. they gave me a leaflet asking "why did jesus come to earth?

  " so i asked them "so why did he come?".

  "well, he came to save us".

  Yep Eve ate a piece of fruit so God killed millions allowed the death of 100s of millions cursed humanity, cursed the grown, created viruses that killed 100s of millions more. Then demanded the death of his own son. Imagine what would of happened if Eve ate a burrito.

  i took a quick trip to the store and i happened to see a young man (about 26-28 years old) who got baptized about the same time i was leaving- about 2 years ago.

  a couple of pioneer sisters found him in the door to door work.

  one of them, a very attractive girl.

  at our meeting last night there was a talk about having run out of magazines for the last three months.

  it's expected this will continue to happen.

  the "branch" has not sent the requested number of magazines.

  I also noticed that the sayings of Jesus were referred to as Jehovah saying it. I guess they do believe in the trinity.
