  When did the Great Crowd start forming?

  i realize that rutherford received a flash of light regarding the identity of the gc in the year 1935, but that does not tell us when the crowd began to form.

  what would be the earliest date?

  any ideas or quotes from wt literature?

  If you read revelations it seems to elude to the idea that the greatcrowd are those gathered during the time of the great tribulation and include those that have died before. Rev chapter 5 i believe tells dead ones to wait until others are gathered then all are standing before the throne in heaven. The 144k are just a group that is part of the great crowd not seperate from it.

  Then the book indicates that all these would come back to earth and reign as priests as a holy nation. Lets also be clear that in the original greek in chapter 5 they are not kings and they do not reign over the earth but on it.

  Peshitta, Aramaic New Testament

  has anyone come across this line of research on the new testament?

  i stumbled upon it today researching the divine name, and textual criticism of the nt.

  it seems that the peshitta is an aramaic translation that has been handed down through the centuries without the controversies of the greek translation.

  You will not find any evidence of gods name in the new testament because there has never been found any text with the name in it. As far as the yhwh its only an assumption or conspiracy that this is how the jews spelled gods name after they returned from Babylon. There is some evidence from places like elphantine egypt that gods name was spelled similiar to yhwh, when quotes were found stating to Yw and his Ashurah. A few other places the spelling of Yh or Yhw has thought to be the spelling of the Hebrew gods name but thats about all your going to find except in early old testament scriptures where the names of El and his different discriptions are used. El-shaddai, Eloyn, etc.

  When ones goes out side of the bible one can find more documents that support the name of the Hebrew god, like the writtings found at Ugarit.

  a hilarious stupid wa message is being circulated amongst jws in my area / country.. i had a hearty laugh at the ignorance and stupidity and brainwashed mentality, different people may express different emotions so you have been warned.

  day one after armageddon it seems ages since we last heard the gunshots and screams, today has been really quiet.

  the last few weeks have been sheer terror.

  when i became an elder i saw the dark side.

  a side i previously believed couldn't possibly exist in the one true religion of the happiest people on earth.. then they rolled out 'overlapping generations(tm)' and that was the last straw.. all my life i had doubts but surpressed them thinking i was at fault and not the cult leaders.. it seems more likely that now the governing body are parading around like popes, wearing their expensive jewellery, that this will nauseate even dyed in the wool jws.. i wonder if the wake up can be condensed into main categories?.

  Johnamos nice try but after i woke up i studied and read the whole bible bought several different translations studied and compared the texts with the original Greek Hebrew and Aramaic. I can for the most part using just the bible blow up most of thier doctrine. But when i truly became Awake is when i studied and found that the bible is full of contradictions, errors and prophecies that did not come true. The bible is crap put together by the Romans and some elitists to control the people, and most of the old testament was stolen from other writings. Read Hammurabi's law stella and youll think your reading from the bible. Read epic of Gilgamesh, you will think your reading from the bible. Read the Emu Elish you'll think your reading from the bible. Read the Ugaritic writings about thier high god El , you will be reading about the same god in the bible.

  In Matt jesus tell us that the young ones he would reveal things to not a bunch of old farts. Im going to put together a bunch of scriptures showung that wisdom and knowledge is good , blowing up thier doctrine of no higher education.

  They have been acting just like a guy who took out a loan from the mob then thought the mob boss was going to get wacked so they wouldnt have to pay back the loan. Then one day the mob boss shows up with some of his goons and says its time to pay up, you have a week to get me my money.

  Theres and older couple in my hall and he was one of the heads of the rbc in my area. Both him and his wife went out thier for awhile. Then another unqualified couple went out there for a couple of weeks or so and just got back. So any way thier still allowing woman to go. As for the first couple they thought they were going for a long while and she is back probably both of them. I don't know why they did not stay longer he was qualified.
