so i was reading over new member hollywood 20s experience and thinking of using it when i'm going to talk with my son that their trying to get baptized.

so that with all the other things through my mind i decided to say some things to him about what's going on with my daughter.

so this is what happening with her.

Oh I forgot to mention that the congregation where my wife attends has near 150 members of those less then 5 donated to the cause and the brother and his wife that's studying with my boys, nope.

So I was reading over new member Hollywood 20s experience and thinking of using it when I'm going to talk with my son that their trying to get baptized. So that with all the other things through my mind I decided to say some things to him about what's going on with my daughter.

So this is what happening with her. She gets baptized A few years ago about the same time I'm waking up. They of course use this in her onstage coming out deal whatever they call it, where shes talking about how Satan tries to stop your baptism and then say a close family member didn't want me to get baptized. Lie I only wanted her to delay. Any way after she starts getting sick and it gets worse over time. She's been blessed by jah,.j/k.

So we're going to doctor after doctor they all say its just in her head and she continues to get worse really bad. She finally gets diagnosed and a few months later but still no medical help my wife finds out about a potentially curing treatment on the east coast, were on the west.

So we go into action to raise the money that its going to take to get their, the few week treatment and get back. I don't have a lot of money in savings do to another issue draining it but I know I can earn the money. In the mean time the wife takes on some odd jobs and also starts a fund raiser on Facebook and opens up an account at a bank hoping people will help out. So in a few weeks I give her about half the money needed and then my mother finds out about what's going on and decides to donate half of what's needed so now we have the funds and it didnt take as long as i thought it was, Sweet.

But wait, the money she ,my mom, donated even though she's a witness and is family came from a small inheritance that she got from a worldly relative and of course my money again is from family but I'm also and evil unbeliever. So how much did my wife get from all her congregation and all her friends with the fundraising.? Less then 600 and most came from a couple of her close friends and how much did the elders give?, not one red cent. Now I wasn't behind the fund raising idea and was determined to earn all the money myself. She did all that on her own.

I'm sure when they get back if my daughter treatment goes well , they'll say it was a blessing from jah and he also found away to get the money that was needed. Were so blessed.

In the end modern science an educated doctor and worldly peoples money hopefully fix my daughter.

i never knew my father because he died in a car accident when i was a few weeks old.

my mother converted as a jw soon after when two sisters came to her door and offered her comfort, which was something she needed.

Special Pioneer Couple Living at a Kingdom Hall In Miami FL, get the dreaded Letter

just got a phone call from an older sister saying that a couple that got re-assigned from bethel 4 years ago to live at their kh apartment as special pioneers, just received a letter saying "as of january 2016, your special pioneer assignment will be discontinued".. they live in a south miami kh(snapper creek congregation).. this couple had only served in bethel for 15 years before they were sent out into the special pioneer work.

they are now in their mid 50's and the sister said that they have to find part time jobs to support themselves.. the older sister (does not have a pc or internet), says that the couple are just devastated!

I new the over 50 thing was a lie. Even if they didn't at first they would quietly later.

so another week goes by with another brain mushing meeting.

i had not been to a meeting in two weeks.

first i was out in vegas for a business trip.

I think there is also a Scripture where a girl gets raped in a field and no one hears her crying out and that man is to be killed, no witnesses there. But if that Scripture says it's that way it contradicts other Scriptures but what's new.

we both served as elders for years.

I can confirm the truth to such a meet up but surprised at the size. Where I live one of the last members of the old writing department gets together with a small group of exbethlites and elders and their wives. Much smaller in scale.

Need advice

hi.i've been pouring over this site for the past few days looking for some advice and i hope there is someone here that can help a guy out.

i'm desperate.....short bio: i came into the organization after high school and shortly after married a wonderful girl who was born-in.we have been happily married now for nearly 20 years and things were well until 2015 hit.

by the way, i currently serve as an elder and have the ""privilege"" of being the "watchtower overseer".. either here nor there, we were told we would never have children but late last year my wife became prego!!

Take it from me go slow plant seeds of discontent and have your wife start taking herbs and suplements. My mother misscaried for years until she did this then she had my sister when she was over the age of 40

also would like some help on showing my son the ramifications on what happens to someone when they get baptized and how they'll expect him to treat me.

From what I have gathered the event has been postponed because some of the family is going to be out of town. But I guess it was going to be soon this weekend or the next.

Thanks for the advise please keep it coming. My son is truly immature and I think he's doing this because of pressure wanting to fit in etc. I have shared with him some ttatt, shared with him information about the Bible and the God of the Bible to be nothing more then myth. He has even made comments that seamed to indicate that the info was sinking in to his head. But because he's so immature he doesn't get the ramifications of anything.

He thinks he can do things that are forbidden by the Borg and it's no big deal for example he wanted me to buy fireworks this past July. He truly just doesn't get it, and hes telling both sides things each side wants to hear. Also please stop telling me to man up. I'm trying to save my family here. I pretty sure the wife was told months ago by the elders to leave me because I was sharing ttatt with this son. They the congragation has ganged up on me to paint me the bad guy and give the family lots of love bombing. Lies have been told, presentations have been give on stage, possibly marking talk all to ruin me.

I sat my family down and spoke to them 2 years ago about why I was quitting but for most small kids it goes in and out their heads and who is going to have the better influence me or their mother. Its me against the whole Borg here. We all know what that is like, we all want to help each other out but in the end it's still just us individually against one of the biggest cults in the world.
