billions of people have been slaughtered, died do to diseases and starvation, even eaten by animals. Where was thier god to help them? Just in thier head.

Where did Jehovah go ?
by Deleteandrestart infor the many years i was mentally " in " the congregation, i equated the organisation as interchangeable with the persona of jehovah, in effect whatever the organisation said or thought, that was what jehovah thought and that was what jehovah said.... it was that simple.
so when i found out the ttatt and the cynical moves of the organisation over the years,including 1975 , the donation arrangements, the united nations, etc i was devastated and thought " where's jehovah in all of this?".
the god who i'd poured my heart out to on many occasions and who i thought was silently listening and hearing my pleas ..... was not there , .

He said so in a talk he gave at a dc a few years ago. I think it was him. It was a GB member and when I asked a former high up ex bethleite he said it must he Lett. I wish I could remember for sure which GB member it was. -

If that pictures heading is acurate and Lett was new to Bethel in 1976 them he's a big fat liar. Wonder if there's a way to confirm when exactly he first went to Bethel? He said in a talk that he was at Bethel before 1975 and he was one of the few that was considered an apostate because he didn't think the end was coming in 1975. -

JWs standing on mats whilst Cart Witnessing
by Listener ini've come across a guy on youtube that has been approaching numerous jws in public cart witnessing.
actually, calling it witnessing is beyond a joke because most of the time they are just standing there and in the case of this youtuber, they walk away in silence or turn their heads.the youtuber is not a jw and i don't think he ever was, he calls himself a christian and i don't think he is affiliated with any particular religion.there is one video where he shows about 4 jws standing on a square plate with a yellow marking on the edge, they each have their own plate.
i am curious as to why they are standing on these?

These witness are standing right next to each cart looking like thier guarding them. Who would want to approach them for book or anything? Really stupid, jws don't even realize how dumb they look. -

"Death will be no more" - ONLY earthly blessing?

explanation for doorkeepers that "death will be no more" would only refer to an earthly blessing, because it would be logically according to the text that in heaven no one ever died or death had never been there.
seems like wishful argument for the earthly paradise.. dont forget the 144000 members of the heavenly class that will receive heavenly blessing after death and used for decades rev.

Revelations clearly shows that the first resurrection is only for those that were killed as martyrs for Christ all others that have died have to wait 1000 years then be resurrected in to a time where Satan is let loose a time of judgment. So much for death being no more. -

I'm getting baptized
by BlackWolf ini know i've started similar topics before but this time i'm serious.
my parents have been constantly pressuring me and after yesterday's watchtower study they asked me if i was going to be baptized this summer... and i said yes.
i probably should have thought about it more before making a final decision, but they're pretty much forcing me to do it anyway.

45 Minute Bethel Video about Changes (downsizing) at Watchtower
by OnTheWayOut ini don't see this posted elsewhere, and i don't have the links besides this facebook one.. but here is a 45-minute long bethel talk about the changes at bethel including addressing the hard feelings of people who were given the axe.
basically, everything must change.
we gave remaining bethelites saturday off to do our bidding in "the field" and we give bethelites over 70 an extra day a week off (if you can find any such bethelites).

Really going to be crazy when all these people get to thier home congregations thinking thier going to get help only to find a bunch of 60-70 year old office cleaners that are freaking out about how thier going to continue taking care of themselves.
