The Watchtower are Right About Blood...
by cofty in... but, they fail to take note of one important detail.. i believe that if we are going to have any chance of reasoning with a jw about blood, this is the place we need to begin.. don't try to convince them that it was only a dietary law.
it wasn't, and they will never go along with it.. don't tell them that saving a life is more important than obeying a law, even a seemingly trivial one.
they take pride in obedience.

Contradiction Fisherman, Leviticus chapter 17 says you can eat a dead animal and only be unclean for a day.
The real rub is there's roughly one million white blood cells per drop of human beast milk, same with cows milk. In fact that so much that the milk industry filters out these cells so as to make cows milk easier to drink and more appealing to thier customers. So bottom line is the JWs miss apply these scriptures, period!!!!!

Watchtower & Guns
by freemindfade inapparently jehalapeno isn't a 2nd amendment supporter either.... .
july 17 questions from readers.... the way this part is worded screams cult to me, i was quite amused.. how a christian chooses to protect himself, his family, or his possessions is, of course, largely a personal matter, as is his choice of employment.. geee!
thanks watchtower for allowing me to "largely chose my own employment" you are a generous cult lol.

My dad had to quit a good paying career with benefits and a pension. So much for having a choice.
On a side note I'm thinking about getting a AK47

Nice , I too am thinking of just tossing in my marriage and trying to move on. You only live once and right now my wife has the best of her world . I pay for everything provide her with everything and she gets to live a happy JW fairytale and I get nothing in return.

Atheism would not appeared if …
by venus in· if religions were immune to division.
· if scriptures were immune to scientific errors.
· if religious leaders were immune to hypocrisy.

Atheism appeared because throughout history some people realized that the gods never did anything. Didn't answer prayers didn't make it rain didn't save them from their enemies.

A nurse describes a noblood death
by OrphanCrow inthe jehovah's witness protection program.
my first clue that 'something was up' lay in the fact that it was 7 am in the intensive care unit and getting to my patient was a challenge for all of his visitors in his room.my second clue that 'something was up' lay in the fact that my patient was african-american and all of his visitors were white.now before we get all racially sensitive, i am very aware that many families are blended in many ways and many of us are close friends with people of all races.
however, in the hospital where i work, it is an uncommon sight to see a room full of white people at the bedside of a black man at seven in the morning.

There was a case of a 14 year old dying in the state of washington and had to go to court to have the right to refuse blood. His aunt had talked him into joining the JWs. He one his case , JWs from his congregation were all going to the hospital to praise him for what he was doing. He died , they had a great big funeral and infomercial. At his high school where he was popular they gathered to say good by and be discusted by what his cult did to him.

Pretend to honour principles, but make laws instead!
by doubtfull1799 inthis from the latest watchtower question from readers:.
"how a christian chooses to protect him- self, his family, or his possessions is, of course, largely a personal matter, as is his choice of employment.
that said, bible principles reflect god’s wisdom and his love for us.

Their at that bullshit again. I remember when I was a teanager this was all the rage being preached back then too. It was the line of thinking of putting your trust in Jehovah and he will protect you. Well in the next hall over a brother and sister had her sister over and she the girl spent the night on the couch. She was in her late teens or early twenties. Well that night a man broke into the house and beat the girl almost to death. The brother sleeping near by woke up and chased the guy down the street for awhile but since he was naked and not catching up to him he stopped and went back home not realizing how bad the girl was.
I think she survived but had brain damage etc.... so much for putting your trust in Jehovah to protect you.
