Don’t loose your family over this religion just become aloof at the hall, ignore the crap and go as little as possible. It’s mostly a social thing with so many not really knowing anything anyway.

Struggling to Live a Lie
by Addison0998 init’s been very difficult, much more than i first anticipated to live a lie, (be pimo and a regular active member) i still live with my parents but i plan on moving out at the end of the year, so i really need to keep it together.
but i think people are starting to get suspicious that something is up.
i’ve stopped commenting, going on service all the time, talking at the door, and occasionally voicing something, such as a question that no one has a good answer for, that makes people think, but ahah, thinking is dangerous and wrong so that is suspicious of course.

It was stated that do to construction at the dome the events would be held mostly at the locally owned assembly hall.
Upon further review it looks like the dome is opened for business during the summer after all. Looks like a move to better raise money or more evidence of decline???

After many years of research I’ve concluded that jesus was a new god and then was exalted to high god absorbing the powers and likeness of his father. Many years later the trinity idea was introduced to Christianity. This was not uncommon for many pantheons of gods had this happen.
In Babylon Marduk defeats Tiamat and for this he is given highest god status even absorbing 50 other gods and thier powers.
Baal basically does the same by taking over for El not replacing him but becomes more revered because of his fertility powers.
Osiris does something similar and Horus is given the powers and takes over for RA after his mother tricks RA into telling her his devine name.

I went to a meeting at my old congregation last weekend

about 10 years ago they merged 3 struggling rural congregations into one in the largest town.
at the time there were about 75 publishers.

I love to read about the decline, I remember reading just a couple years ago about a CO making the comment here in my area that they’re loosing 6 people per circuit assembly and back then they were having two of those per year per circuit. So that’s 12 people per circuit per year. Nice healthy decline.
Not sure if that the case all over or just my area but it’s been calculated that the cults loosing based on their own numbers 1 million members per decade worldwide. Now if those numbers stay that way or go up and those coming in go down which we know they have their in trouble, and I like that!

aside from blatant homophobia, the scenes at the end of the convention that are discussed on another thread stoop to new levels of fear mongering.
it seems to occur to nobody inside the organisation that this kind of material could trigger fear, deprsssion, anxiety, stress.
