Sorry i cant reply to your expose on approaching death, be it upon your deathbed as this would be inappropriate to talk or converse with you as you are ,or shown to have passed away,guess your not gonna do any more postings ,????
being seriouse now,,this is a solitary statement which is personal to dying people,i had to read it as something as a poem as many many thousands of people are affected by this moving aspect which you have shown , i also say that this person was at ease with his own reasonings the difference between not having faith in an organization rather having knowledge which trancends the need to have faith ,which is having a need or hope yet unfullfilled your epitaph gives man the freedom to choose or not to choose ,while approaching death,does one opt for man made faith,
or adopt a philosophical view that ,you know the truth allready and that this has set you free.

Take me back to your dream ,you say you where waiting for an elder,like waiting for a bus,the reason why you went back into the trash can was that you where delving in all the trash and rubbish that is commonly dished out at kingdom halls,was a pity you never threw the holder at his head then maybee you may have got his full attention,but the fact that you went into the hall submissive ,and strolled out brave confident& triumphant with your back to the whole congregation along with well not keeping the uninportant appointment,as far as the elder was concerned, you were showing that you had had enough .the elder chatting away to the 2 sisters in your time showed that he didnot care about you one way or another ,are you suprised at this attitude ,they approach you with something trivial to chastise you about,but the meaningfull things they ignore.
Yes you have walked out on false teachings which are mostly destined for the rubbish bin, if only more people had the courage of there convictions,and done as you have done,

my wife and i were talking about something the other day while we were driving and we were discussing some point about boards like this one.
boards that are populated by ex-jws.
in the conversation we got to wondering some things, and wondered if others felt or wondered the same.

You and your wife seem to be looking for (the Elixier of life ) which we know what it is but we dont know yet how to reach it, you have trod down the paths that many of us have ridden down,i say ridden as when you ride you are not as immersed within the organization & there trappings ,as in a steel coil of invisible tentacles being wrapped around you allso squezing the life out of you in turn restricting your thinking poweres,,along this thread the tentacles try desperatly to emesh themselves across your immediate family and all relatives ,but some have the strength within themselves to release themselves from this enslavementthe friendships which you used to have ,as allways have proven very fickle,in a word meaning not real, you have also found out that these type of friendships only remain subject to you and your wife acting and performing in a certain manner,.You instigated a reversall of life within the tentacles ,which allso leaves cause and effect,
you appear to hold in scorn the other persons whom have escaped from the control you once over them ,your looking for that mirracle which will justify whatever resonings you may still harbour,you say you are still tainted with a type of religion ,well firstly GOD IS NOT RELIGIOUSE,
YOU HAVE TASTED AND EXPERIENCED THE WORLD OUTSIDE BUT YOU ARE STILL NOT SATTISFIED ,.

its not the fact that ex borg members relish in gossip concerning the administration and its downfall rather the opposite,they are now free to voice there freedom of speech ,giving examples and outcomes of how others have been affected ,covering pain sorrow hurt and familys torn apart ,we use one voice to condem,the manipulation of the borg and one voice to build up brokenhearted individuals and familys,

I do know about emphysema, and I am so sorry that your husband has this dreadful disease.... but be positive and strong for each other...as regards the epidural steroids ... I personally have had two injections... the first time it was no good, and then the second time the injection worked, but be warned that the effect is short term, and does not give long term effect... sorry..... I am still suffering badly with my back, but I have decided that I would rather take light exercise and painkillers to get me through the bad days, than to take anymore steroids... it is like anything.. too much...and your body becomes immune... so it sounds as if the pair of you need lots of TLC.... and that is what you will get from us lot on board, ... if you need to talk some more please e-mail me...

we as a family allways wanted a family pet as in (dog ) but as the ministry loomed every weekend ,as well as the meetings we decided that it would be to much trouble ,subconciously the influence came from other members in the congregation ,which in turn came from the elders in turn from the bethel ,allways sprouting on about the ministry first ,you never had time for anything elsemow ,yes a dog would be to much trouble,but now,for the past two /half years my younger children are enjoying the companionship of an animal in the house,as well as 2 cats which we have had for past eight years,.

i always loved little animals, and i always will have one.
i noticed that most families do have pets.
for people living alone, a pet is a good companion.
In our home the pets include, one husband, three boys, one girl, one dog and two cats.....
yeah, i would say that pets are important, actually only joking about the family LOL
Our dog is a 2 yr old german pointer, and she is loooovvvverrrly, she is a real sweetie and just like a little kid, but is also wise, when you feel ill, or a little down she is beside you....and she always brings a smile to our faces...the cats, well these two pretend to rule the house, bossy, but lovely, and a home without a pet is quiet.
I grew up with animals, and I was a JW.
But, I remember one assembly about the fact that JWs should not have pets????mmmmm well you can imagine what I thought to that, due to the fact that animals interrupt the field ministry....never mind..

i've been meaning to post this for all the music fans out there.
last weekend we were in anaheim for the namm convention.
it's a musician's trade show.
A twelve hundred pound alien called flesh wants to visit you soon ,it will be covered in make up allso,(trying to disguise himself ) the only part not coverd in makeup or showing will be his six foot protruding manhood probe,

i have been putting off speaking to this dear friend of mine for some time now, in that i would have to explain certain issues to her.... each time she has called recently i have been unable to put my thoughts into words, and was about to put how i felt about the jws etc in writing...but that is danagerous!!
so anyway she called last night, and away i went...... i rattled off to her as to what had happened to my husband - she was shocked - so she spoke to an elder today, re disassociating and the way that this matter was dealt with in the congregation - well he said to her that it was to be put in writing, or if a second person was party to the conversation - this does not mean listening in on another line and not informing you of this.... that this was how disassociating was to be done - well when she told him what had happened to my husband - he was disgusted... he though is very ill and knows that matters in the org are not good, but he is too ill to do anything... .
i pointed out to my friend that sadly this is happening worldwide.... and she was shocked ... even more shocking was that she could understand where we were coming from as to the doubts that we have re the org and its teaching - she is a reg pioneer for the last 20 odd years.

Plus the fact her son-in-law will soon be on his way out aswell, due to the information that I was telling her, and she is now worried that her daughter will follow....
She called me tonight, and she explained the elders conversation to me, and that all day she has had a knot in her stomach due to the things that I had said to her yesterday....she is a researcher and I know for a fact that she will not just take my word for things, but she will look into matters, and I told her to do her research independent of the WTS... that will be hard for her.... she is also worried because her husband has not be an active JW for the last 20 years, so she is waiting for a knock on her front door!!!!!!
Anyway I just thought I would share this with you, because JWs know that things are not right within the org, but seem to be scared to stand up and be counted as being in disagreement with the org....frightening ..now I have to try and explain all this to my mother ...oh joy of joys.... this was a pre-run of things to come, oh well one down and a few more to go.... actually I felt quite good when I was saying these things to her....so I will keep you posted...
